Unacceptable and Discriminatory Behavior
This morning at Dollar Tree Store #7206 (1540 E Hillside Dr, Broken Arrow, OK), I was shocked and disturbed to overhear the cashier, Christy, and the Assistant General Manager say they were going to “call ICE on the next Mexican that walks in the door.”
This kind of language is not only completely unprofessional but also hateful and discriminatory. It made me extremely uncomfortable as a customer and reflects poorly on Dollar Tree as a company.
I sincerely hope this incident is investigated and that Dollar Tree takes appropriate action. Comments like these from store leadership should never be tolerated in any workplace. This is exactly the kind of behavior that can lead to public backlash and boycotts. Do better. If your Hispanic I urge you don’t shop here anymore.

Some items are questionable depending on the items/price. Some fair and some just not worth it.
There $1.25 items come in handy whether it's pack of pens or snacks or Specific holiday/person etc cards or crafts, and games/word searches along with Mini pack of UNO. Nice place to visit to browse and pick up travel supplies
Regardless, it's a useful store for last minute items or cheap/travel stuff. Or quick snack/drink
Restrooms are located in the back.

Review – Incident on 6/30/25 at 8:34 PM
First and foremost, I’d like to share that I am a respectful human being. I don’t litter, and I always return shopping carts because that’s what decent people do. That said, my experience tonight was surprising and disappointing.
While shopping with my baby in a stroller, I encountered an older Caucasian woman with glasses who seemed to be tidying up the store. At first, I assumed she was simply doing her job. However, her actions quickly felt intrusive—hovering over me as I shopped and then startling me as I disposed of a small, bagged item of trash in a trash can near the register.
To my disbelief, she pulled my trash out of the can, handed it back to me, and said, “Ma’am, you can’t throw that away here. We already took the trash out for the night.” I was stunned and confused, especially because I was wearing headphones to cope with postpartum overstimulation. Still, I respectfully took the bag and stepped aside, trying to process the odd exchange.
I then noticed her hovering over a young cashier, who was trying to work while a line of about ten customers waited. I approached the woman and asked her name she refused to give it. I asked why she wasn’t helping out by opening a register. Her response? “We don’t close until ten.” I calmly replied, “Exactly, yet you’ve already taken the trash out.”
The whole interaction felt unprofessional, uncomfortable, and unnecessary. If this individual is in a leadership role, I hope she takes time to reflect on how her behavior affects customers and staff alike. Respect and good customer service should always be a priority.
To the young cashier thank you for your patience and grace under pressure. I hope you’re supported better in the future.
Sincerely,
A kind and observant customer who believes in human decency.

No public bathroom; the bathrooms are always locked. Very unimpressed with the 5th visit in a row with zero bathroom access. If the public can’t use the bathroom put a sign on the doors at the entrance.

If i could rate it a 0 i definantly would. To start off i walked into the store to purchase 6 ballons when i stood there for roughly 15 min i asked an associate names emily if she could help me and she just stared at me and said…. Absolutely nothing then i stood there for another 15 min before a worker came out and stood at the registers and when i asked if he could help me he said oh no im off…? be for real right now. Then another worker named morgan turnes around and said if your want help stand in line. Honey. I need to get my items to check out.. the customer Service here is always awful i will defiantly not be coming back to this lowlife operated store

The older lady who works closing shift is so rude. Terrible customer service. Also must be pretty forgetful. Barely got in the door before she rudely announced it was closing (it was 8:40), I was aware. I bought stuff before closing, and as soon as I made it back to my car I turned around and went back inside for my bag that I left behind. She opened the door and rudely said “we’re closing” (it was 10 minutes til close) and I told her I was just inside and left my bag. Just saying, her customer service came off so rude.

Not all stores have the same items. You need to look at different ones to sometimes find what you want.
