Let me tell you a story that starts with panic, ends with peace, and has a whole lot of chaos in between. If you’re a single mom like me, juggling bills, bedtime routines, and life’s curveballs, you’ll get this.
It started with a letter from the IRS—innocent looking, bland envelope, but inside was a notice that nearly made me pass out. I was being audited. Apparently, someone else had claimed one of my children on their tax return.
According to the IRS, I now owed thousands. Like, life-altering, credit-crushing thousands. I remember sitting at my kitchen table staring at that letter, heart pounding, wondering how I was going to fix this.
I felt defeated. Angry. Powerless. I’ve always worked hard to do the right thing—for my kids, for my future. But here I was, facing an enormous debt for something I didn’t even do.
That’s when I called Rebecca.
I didn’t even fully finish my panicked rambling before she cut me off with, “Bring me everything. We’ll take care of it.”
She and her team didn’t hesitate. They jumped in like tax warriors—gathering documents, crafting letters, pulling records, communicating directly with the IRS on my behalf. They explained every step in ways I could actually understand and reminded me, often, to breathe.
It took time. It took paperwork. It took some tears. But most importantly, it took someone like Rebecca—someone who had my back when I was too overwhelmed to stand up straight.
In the end? Everything was resolved. The IRS dropped the claim, and I owed nothing. Not a single dollar. I walked away with a clear record, no penalties, and a brand-new level of gratitude.
I will never forget how I felt in those moments of fear—but I’ll also never forget how safe I felt when someone I trusted said, “We’ve got this.”
So, if you’re ever blindsided by something like this—don’t panic. Don’t give up. And if you’re lucky enough to have a Rebecca in your life? Call her immediately.
Because no mom should ever face a battle like this alone.

Rebecca and her team are amazing selfless people that go above and beyond for their clients. As the president of an FOP, we were at a crossroads on the amount of support we could provide our Deputoes and community because we did not have our tax exempt status, Rebecca walked us through the process and even offered to help each of our Deputies and their families. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING SERVICE. Have been trying for weeks to mail our taxes and get this done for a loan me and my girlfriend were working on. Went in and got all of our stuff done within two hours. As a new business owner, High Tower has taken a huge burden off of me, & made my life much easier. Each one of their staff is friendly, kind & personable, & Rebecca has shown me time & time again how much she cares for her clients.
