The company pretty much sucks, they provide very unreliable service. They know they have issues in the lines and they will not fix them. The technicians, however, are good and try to take care of the customer, as much as the company will allow.

Technician was very punctual. He arrived right at 10:00 AM as expected. He was knowledgeable of the situation and shared every detail of what he was having to do. Because our new motum did not arrive untill later today, the technician had to work with what he had. He repaired a broken line five blocks away, then had to start from scratch to rebuild our account using our old motum. He completed the job around 1:30 PM. The new motum came at 5:00 PM 9/5/24 a day late. Now what do we do with the new motum?

The technician rates FIVE stars. I appreciate his determination to provide a solution to replace bad copper cable under extreme weather conditions and suboptimal company guidelines. However, since Windstream HQ apparently does not want to bury copper cable while preparing for fiberoptic, I'm giving Windstream fewer stars. The technician had to lay 100 feet of copper cable from the pole across the fences of 5 yards and then create a means to connect it to the interface box. The solution works but due to Windstream policy is a "semi-temporary" fix.
