I have been using this location for years and have had generally a good experience.
I was a bit disappointed to discover that if you notice an issue with your haircut and can't get in within 5 days they charge you $9 to get it fixed. Better make sure your haircut is good before you leave.

Save yourself the trouble. I’ve gone to Sportclips for years and had many issues. I’m finally wise enough to go somewhere else.
There has never been anything special about a single stylist I have had. They range from bad to average.
The worst part is that the company’s check-in system is majorly flawed. I’m sure many current customers would agree. Today at this location I checked in online with an approximate 30 min wait. I arrived closer to an 18 min wait. I checked in once I was at the store. The website showed me as first in line as several people arrived after me and got serviced first. After waiting for an hour, I asked where I was in line. I was told I was last in line behind 9 other people. The website never showed that I was in the store despite the tv screen inside the store showing otherwise.
This company sucks. This location has the same issue that caused me to leave the Tulsa Hills location.
Stay away from this company. Its marketing is superior to other places, but it’s just as average as places like Great Clips or Supercuts. Get an average haircut somewhere else, fellas.

Check in online, which usually works well and makes for a short wait. Stylists are friendly. My cut is simple so they really can't mess it up, and they don't. Its not expensive which is important to me since I'm in every two weeks. Not every stylist can be the best ever, but I've only had one cut I could complain about and that stylist was not around anymore next time I came in. I've had some really great cuts here but I don't request a particular stylist because I want to make sure they all get to stay busy, but you could request a certain stylist if you wanted to. They carry Mitchell product which is really great. If you like a good hold without it being hard or shiny I recommend Mitchell Material. If you want to go pay 40-50 for a cut, go for it, but I did that for a while and it simply wasn't worth the extra money.

Jennifer was amazing, the experience was worth it with her. I usually get scared going to hair shops like this with horror stories and all. My son who is 15 has autism and she was patient and wonderful with him. He usually doesn’t like anyone but she got him to open up like that. She charmed me and my husband to where she sold us a whole bunch of product as well. winded up spending $80 and i don’t regret it. All because of Jennifer.

No disrespect or anything, this place is a hit or miss. My last 2 cuts were perfect low tapers and the barbers were new barbers?? Asking there way threw out the haircut to see if this was right? My recent cut the barber had a history card with “my previous haircut” and I thought she knew what I wanted, it turned out she gave me a mid fade with hair not enough to were I can texture it.FYI if you come here always have a picture of the haircut you want as you not always going to have the same barber and not all barber know what haircut you want just by saying it.Overall good place to get a haircut if you have a tight schedule

I have my haircut on Thursday with the gel and everything. It looked really good, washed my hair that night my wife was like wow you need to get the right side even doubt. It was literally sticking out like a 90° angle. I called Friday and told him I couldn’t make it until Sunday and they said they would fix it. I went in today And the young lady fixed my hair did great and then proceeded to charge me for a haircut. I asked really you charge me for fixing something I already paid for three days ago? So they lowered it to a trim but I’m just really confused why I should have to pay fortem fixing a haircut that just was wrong. In the past it’s maybe happened once over three years so it’s a good salon but the managers always just taken care of it and fixed it and I left a happy customer. Today I’m feeling totally jilted. I was not expecting to have to pay for anything. I did give the young lady who did a great job fixing previous haircut $10 tip out of my pocket and was leaving they started ringing me up for a haircut. There really should be some guarantee on your cut. I paid $63 on Thursday and today I paid another $20 that’s really unfortunate and will probably keep you coming back to this location. The girls were really nice. This isn’t really a post about them or their service. Probably just the policy and guarantee the work.

I was asked to leave because I slid the cosmetologist chair forward because I have BAD EYESIGHT . She reprimanded me as if I were a child. I asked her not to speak to me that way and the entire staff erupted in her defense. Mistake on my part very unprofessional on theirs.

Stylist Jason cuts my man and both of my boys and always give a perfect cut. He keeps us coming back because he always does a great job. We highly recommend him

Today on 11-25-23 around 2:45 I brought my son in for a haircut. We stopped coming to this location and I was quickly reminded why. The lady at the register is rude and not welcoming. Some girls hanging out in the office behind the register are loud as hell and very inappropriate with customers in here. I won’t go into detail because it would take too long but have some respect for your customers. Also when a customer asked about the prices going up they were rude and as soon as he walked out they were making fun of him for asking. Like can’t your high school gossip wait until there are no customers? This location needs a training on etiquette around customers. Because if those girls were going to do my son’s hair I would immediately refuse. Disgusting all around! The 71st location is better. I worked in retail and I never acted like a child in front of customers. Grow up please.** one of the girls name was Audrey and she was the loudest and rude of them all** another girls name was Allie as well**

There was a client that was very unprofessional toward a stylist that was doing her best with her consultation for his kid and I have to say she handled it very professionally I didn’t get her name but it was the one with bright blonde hair. I’ve been to other places and workers can be like high schoolers but everyone I saw there was nice about it . I’ll always come back here for my cuts
