The lady at the Fly shop was amazing. It was my first time fly fishing and her knowledge of baits put me immediately on catching fish. I will never go fishing without checking with these ladies!!!

I live within driving distance of the Lower Mountain Fork River and wanted to learn how the river fishes so I can start fly fishing the river. I scheduled an afternoon trip through the Beavers Bend Fly Shop.Upon arrival, I received a friendly welcome at the shop. The shop is well stocked and staff is willing to answer questions.I met my assigned guide, Hirthel Chapman at the shop. Hirthel took me to several locations on the river explaining different techniques, flies to use, how the river fishes at different times of year, and even some history of the river and fly fishing history as well. Hirthel even included information about Beavers Bend SP and the local area.It was a pleasant afternoon and even though our focus was more educational, Hirthel made sure we got in plenty of fishing. I caught some Rainbows and one small Brown which Hirthel said was the first Brown he had seen in awhile. I highly recommend Beavers Bend Fly Shop for any tackle needs you have and for any guided trips. I’m sure all of their guides will do you a great job, but don’t hesitate to ask for Hirthel by name. I met a fishing guide, but left with a new friend! Tight lines y’all…

Our experience learning how to fly fish with our guide, Hirthel Chapman, was absolutely fantastic. This was our first time taking on the activity, but he made sure that we were comfortable and at ease throughout the entire process. Hirthel's patience and wealth of knowledge made the experience even more enjoyable and worthwhile. It was truly a memorable experience that we will never forget. Thank you Hirthel.

Absolutely the best ladies working in here that are super knowledgeable about the area/fishing. Super sweet to visit with and the store has everything you would need for fishing in the area. You can no longer get a fishing license here though, everything is done online. We were stopped by the game warden 2 hours after we had been fishing and they checked our licenses. Don't be silly and not purchase one, it's not worth the fine! This is the 3rd time we've been stopped and checked during our visits in the last year, so we KNOW they are serious about checking them.

On a previous trip to Beavers Bend, my fishing buddy and I were fly fishing when a couple of fishermen and their guide came by. We weren’t catching any fish. The guide, Morgan, apparently saw how we were fishing, paused and gave us a couple tips as they passed by.Our next trip to Beavers Bend we decided to hire Morgan for a guided trip. I was hoping to get a few more tips and catch a few fish. Wow!! - I was definitely not disappointed. In fact, Morgan’s instructions and knowledge made the day so much better than I had hoped for. I never had that much fun fly fishing. It was an excellent day.Thank you to Morgan for your guidance and patience that day.

So my daughter had been wanting to go fly fishing, and had been found fishing videos of Morgan Prater on YouTube and decided she wanted to go on a fishing trip with her. The trip definitely did not disappoint. Beavers Bend Fly shop worked with us through all the crazy weather and everything to make sure we got our trip booked, and on the day of our trip Morgan made sure that my wife and daughter were taken care of and had the time of their life.....we will definitely be booking another trip with this great guide service

Got us geared up and out on the water for an excellent morning. Guides were efficient, knowledgeable, and gave excellent instruction. Trey and Morgan are no doubt the best team to join. Seeing them in action together was a highlight. Their dedication went above and beyond to insure everyone in our group was well taken care of. Super impressed with the attention they gave to capturing our trip in photos, providing those memories to look back upon and to back up my boys fish stories. The service along with the size trout caught on this beginner trip exceeded my expectations. Grateful to have spent the morning in their company.

My sister and I used BBFShop this morning and Matt was awesome. Had my first brown in about 10 minutes and caught several rainbows. My sister out did me with several rainbows 2 17 plus inches. I recommend these guys to everyone. Thanks again Beavers Bend Fly shop.

Wow! Before our trip to Broken Bow, I had been fly-fishing once, and my wife had never been. I booked Mo as our guide a few weeks in advance, and that was a GREAT choice! Mo made sure that we had a fun day on the water. Oh, and we caught plenty of fish. Actually, my wife caught more (and bigger!) fish than I did. Good work, Mo!We had four hours on the water, and Mo taught, guided, and reminded the whole time! She kept moving us up and down the river to find hot spots. She took plenty of pics to help us document our trip and AirDropped them to us when we got back to the shop.The fee we paid was well worth it! Mo gave us a great experience. The fish we caught were just icing on the cake. What a great day on the water!

If I could give this place 100 stars I would! I went in January of 2023 w my boyfriend, and we both had zero experience in fly fishing. We did one full day and one half day. I was OBSESSED and had the best time! Everyone there is so amazing, extremely talented, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do! If you’re debating on doing a full or half day, full day is the way to go!! Trey and Morgan were so awesome and made the entire trip so worth it! We learned so much about fly fishing/fishing in general and will definitely be back! It’s worth every penny, and you will catch lots of fish!?

My husband and I had a half day trip with Peter. He was an amazing guide! This was my first time to fly fish. He was a patient, great teacher, he knew exactly where to take us to catch fish, and he has a great personality and was a ton of fun! We definitely loved our experience and would recommend them for guides to anyone looking!

Peter took great care of us throughout our trip last weekend. He put us right on the fish and provided good insight on what he was doing. He helped show me a great spot for proposing to my now fiancé. Absolute blessing we had him. definitely worth your time and money to use him and other staff members in this specific shop!

We had such an amazing experience at this shop. Such a local nice feeling, very welcoming! The best part was purchasing a guided fly fishing class with Mo. She is such an amazing teacher and person! We also feel like she has some sort of agreement with local fish haha! She helped us learn to how properly fly fish and my dad could not be happier! Thank you for being such a kind and great teacher!

Great experience fly fishing with Morgan! My boys love her, she is great with kids. Morgan is very knowledgeable and explained everything thoroughly. Best part, we caught tons of trout!
