“I have used both the Poteau and McAlester facilities for 6 years now. They are great facilities with mostly great staff, but I have had a couple of unfortunate run ins with a particular staff member at the McAlester facility. Apparently my 14 year old daughter is not welcome in this facility since a certain member of the staff has twice now interrupted our workout to have an issue when she comes with me. Nevermind that she started going to the Poteau facility with me when she was 8 years old, and no one had a problem with it. This same staff member had an issue with her being in the facility 2 years ago which resulted in her not going back until she was 14 because that was this staff member's issue with us at that time. I don't understand... do we not want our kids to be healthy and active? Do we not want to teach them healthy habits for a lifetime? We never have an issue with any other staff members at either the Poteau or McAlester facility other than this one staff member. Both times we have had an issue this staff member has interrupted our workout. Even though she saw us come through the door and could have asked us anything she wanted at that time, or waited until we were done. I will not go back to this facility because apparently we are not welcome there.”
