Loblolly Chocolates offers a fantastic experience with gorgeous, professional packaging and a family feel. The service is excellent, featuring friendly interactions. An impressive 90% of products are made in-house, from chocolate-covered strawberries to uniquely flavored treats like a chocolate-covered hibiscus flower and chocolate-covered honeycombs. The truffles are little works of art with complex, surprisingly delicious flavors such as cucumber and lemongrass. The chocolates rival the best Swiss and Belgian varieties. Prices are great, especially for those who understand the art of chocolateering. While some portions are small, the quality is high and definitely something to savor. The shop is part of a beautiful new shopping area and is highly recommended.

Ended up visiting this chocolate shop twice during my stay in town. Tried some of the most uniquely flavored treats, including a chocolate covered hibiscus flower. The truffles were little works of art with complex flavors, like cucumber and lemongrass - surprisingly delicious and complimentary to the quality chocolate.
