About Skippa-Rock River Floats
Skippa-Rock River Floats is a great, laid-back place to go float the river and enjoy nature. The business runs pretty smooth, offering tubing and kayaking on routes like a 5-mile or 9-mile float, which takes about 2 hours but you can take your time. They provide tubes with a headrest and cup holder, plus a tube for your coolers, and kayaks are set out ahead for guests. The staff are very friendly, nice, hospitable, and extremely helpful, always on top of it. There is a decent place to change clothes, portacans for restrooms, and AC in the office. They do not have lockers but have a rack for car keys and sell phone pouches. You jump in an old bus to be driven up the river and dropped off. As soon as you finish your float, you can jump back on the bus and go again. It’s a perfect length to stop and have lunch. Guests have amazing experiences and lots of fun, often getting stuck on a few rocks or seeing mini rapids, but always having the best time. People would absolutely go again and definitely will be coming back.

Have your driver's stop at the only stop sign on the trip back from the 5 mile.... it isn't a yield sign.
The business runs pretty smooth, decent place to change clothes, portacans for restrooms, and AC in the office. Kayaks were set out ahead for us and everything worked as it should. Thanks.

This is a great laid back place to go float the river and enjoy nature. Can't wait to go back. We are gonna do the 9 mile next time.

A group of my friends went yesterday for the tubing and the staff there are so friendly. I had dropped my phone in the river, and the owner personally went out to help us find it. Most locations would have said they couldn’t help. But with them being even busy they stopped everything to help us. Definitely will be coming...
