Worked here and the manager is too old to be working and needs to retire. She was rude and didnt care about customers wait time whatsoever . Would pretend not to hear me 2 to 3xs in a row when I would ask a question from 5 ft away. Then would get mad when I asked her instead of looking for someone else across the store. I thought getting help for the customers faster mattered most but..... what do I know.. absolutely the worst job I ever had . Started me off at 30 ish hours a week and then scheduled me 10 and expected me to either go without or drive to Stonewall to help their location which was a nightmare as far as stores condition goes. Had to work with no clock in number in Stonewall and ask them multiple times to put my time in and I always got the same response its not due till Saturday...... well I DONT WAIT TILL YHE LADT MINUTE TO PAY MU BILLS DONT KNOW HOW YALL WERE RAISED........ 0/5 HORRIBLE MANAGER ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THIS PLACE IS ITS DOWN THE ROAD FROM MY HOUSE.

I guess the card machine wasn’t acting right. The gentleman before me also had issues. I tried three different cards all of which should work. The clerk kept saying it’s giving an error message and the manager came back from break only to tell me in front of quite a few people that it wasn’t her fault I didn’t have any money. Out loud. I don’t normally get worked up about this stuff but seriously? I come in there literally everyday and that’s the kind of response I get? I was patient until that comment. I’d love to speak with the area manager for sure.

Their internet sucks, so you can't use the dg app to scan products. It wouldn't be that bad if they put prices on the clearance items.

Fairly impressive. This location is actually very well stocked and cleaned and the morning time staff are amazing and they provide great customer service. Unfortunately there is one staff member with whom I've had issues but she's not enough of a bother to keep me from coming here. All in all I would recommend this Dollar General.

I’m getting pretty tired of the terrible customer service here. By the same employee, we’ve had two incidents and if this wasn’t the only dollar general near where I live I would stop going there. One night we parked on the side of the building for shade, there was no sign there at all indicating not to park there and in our experiences other dollar generals we were allowed to park the side. As we were about to leave a young female employee walked up to us and asked if we parked there and said bc of the truck we weren’t allowed to park there and that it was illegal parking, we apologized and said there was no sign and tried suggesting to put a sign up so people in the future wouldn’t park there but this girl wouldn’t listen or let us speak. She talked to us like children and repeatedly said “it is illegal parking” then the next incident was the chip reader at checkout. My husband went the day before this incident and the chip reader wasn’t working , he slid the card and inserted everything he had to go to the one self checkout. Next day he had to go back and she was the cashier, the same thing happened again and she kept telling him to slide it and he kept telling her it wasn’t working and it wasn’t going to work bc it’s a chip card. She again talked to him like a child and repeatedly told him to slide it. I can’t believe dollar general would hire a arrogant person like this. I will only be going now to get milk for my kids.

Nice staff, but couldn't find ne toys for my furr baby. No toys at all. Selections were very limited but they just opened. Hopefully, these issues will b resolved.
