I took my 12 year old daughter there to look for some dresses. As a man, I'm not familiar with what Cato offers. As soon as we walked in, this lady with brown curly hair literally yelled across the store, asking what size my daughter was. (My daughter is petite) I let her know, and she laughed and said they wouldn't have anything there for her. As we turned the corner in the store to leave, I saw a junior misses section. I verbally said "oh look, Junior Misses." The lady once again felt the need to tell me "those won't fit her either" and laughed, once again. Her demeanor was rude and condescending. I'm just a Dad looking for a dress for my little girl. Maybe try being helpful and tell me where to shop, rather than laughing at my attempt. It was all wrong and definitely not customer service. Honestly, it just seemed like she didn't even want us in the store.

Love shopping at Cato...BUT they make it extremely hard for me to give them my money when they close so early (7pm all week), not a competetive retail strategy.

My wife stopped in to pickup an online order. The employee couldn't have been more rude. If a return has to be done, you absolutely do not make the customer feel terrible that you have to return an item they didn't care for. Your number 1 job at this business is to serve the customer. You failed to do that today with a poor attitude. Your manager needs to immediately place you in customer service training before you bury this location. I have been to Catos before and this entirely misrepresented the standard they have always stood for. If you do not like your job, find something else that is not customer facing.

I walked in and looked around for a while and never had anyone approach me to offer help. I didn't really think about it much until I walked around the corner and saw an employee talking on their cell phone. I was going to ask for help but didn't want to interrupt. I started looking at some slacks and figured I could wait. The employee saw me and walked behind the counter but continued to talk. She was cursing and talking about her hours and salary. I decided to leave. Mostly because I wasn't getting any help but also because I wasn't about to ask the opinion on clothing of someone in that mood. I coulda walked out of there looking like a hot mess ?

I had went in to look at shape wear! Gladys didn't have my size in but called around and check and found me what I needed in my size!! She was amazing And went above and beyond for me!!

I typically love Cato in Catoosa. Not today. I had only been in there for about 4 minutes and already had 3 items to purchase. Their radio was playing Led Zeppelin, which is fine, but it was super staticky! So I asked the girl working if she could hear it and she said no, but she told another girl, which I'm assuming was a manager or assistant manager. That girl said "Whatever", and mumbled something like "I don't care". I immediately put those 3 items back and walked out the door. I usually buy quite a bit at one time, but not today. So Cato, in Catoosa, you need to step up on the customer service. For the exact date and time for you to see who it was, it happened at 3:30pm, Saturday, September 4, 2021. I don't want to listen to static on the radio for an hour! And I wasn't even being demanding, maybe I should have been! Oh and to make things worse, the girl that I told said, "This is the only radio station we can get so.....". So? So turn it off or turn it down, at least while someone asks politely.
