Not the people in the pharmacy; they seem great to me. But its the Walmart Management that seem to be a bit off-clue and arrogant, and what a surprise! Why do all the employees at the pharmacy go to lunch at the same time. It's way too obvious this 'policy' creates chaos just before they shut down for an hour in the middle of the day, but as told to me by the employees, they only get 30 minutes for lunch. It leaves people standing at the pharmacy without help for over an hour. Walmart trying to get people to do more shopping? This is total disrespect for people's time. With my case, I got there 30 minutes prior to lunch. The clerk said the doctor hadn't called it in. I watched the clinic call it in myself. She would not go to the other station with the PC that shows the call-ins; just told me to come back; next! So I did come back 20 minutes later. New person confirms its there; pharmacist says it will be a few minutes. 9 go by; I'm watching the clock because its Lunch Time upcoming. I get to the window to collect the prescription and I see behind the counter the over- the- counter drug the doctor also prescribed. I enquire. I'm told that It's not sold on the floor because nefarious people do bad things with it, IAW this Pharmacist. OK, I need it says the doctor. Pharmacist holding the prescription says, sorry we are closing for lunch and it takes your drivers license to get that other one you need. I have my license right here. Pharmacists says; sorry our computers are automatically shut off at the lunch hour and its past that time and I only get 30 minutes for lunch. You will have to come back. Gas is expensive and I'm standing right here, and have waited 30 minutes for you to tell me you're closed; unacceptable in my book. There is no reason for that counter to be shut down with the size of that staff. There were at least 8 people back there. Bought the other non-prescript elsewhere on the way home. Asked me for my license; looked at it, and handed me the box.

I just wanted to take some time out to thank Jenny so much! She really went above and beyond for me and truly cared about what I was going through. She even stayed 10 minutes after closing just for me. It's not everyday that you get exceptional service and I just wanted to be the one to point this out. Thanks Jenny!

I have waited 4 days to get my covid test results only to find out this Walmart lost my test with DLO. Very careless and honestly negligent for a patient waiting for covid treatment.

Was in the area visiting family and realized that I had forgotten to bring some of my daily medicines and they were over 500 miles away back home. The staff was so kind and helpful to fill my prescriptions.

I'm not sure if it's Walmart or the people managing this pharmacy but good luck trying to get your prescription shipped I'm switching to CVS this is ridiculous.

Very disappointing Walmart Pharmacy experiences from multiple in-store visits at the Choctaw, Walmarts Pharmacy. With multiple visits to the Walmart Pharmacy in Choctaw, I STRONGLY recommend taking your Pharmacy sales to any other Walmart, CVS, Walgreens or the Amazon website pharmacy ( pharmacy.amazon.com or call 855-745-5725, ext. 3 ).**Your waiting time will be shorter and private**Your personal health information will not be verbally advertised across the pharmacy sales counter for other waiting customers to hear how you are prescribed to take your Diabetic, Hypertension, Erectile Dysfunction, Urinary Incontinence etc...medications**Your medication pill count dispensed will actually be correct, You will receive your entire 90day pill count instead of a 60 day medication refill.** You will receive proof of your COVID Immunization after the administration of the COVID Vaccine without obstacles or delay as evidence that you received your immunization for your personal and employment health records.** You will have professional pharmacy staff and a Team who can critically think and who has common sense to provide the basic customer sale experience.Unfortunately, the Walmart Pharmacy in Choctaw does not have adequate knowledge or experience with providing basic customer satisfaction with the listed above sales/pharmacy skills.Your time, privacy, sales experience are important. Go somewhere else for your medication and immunizations needs.

Appearantly this pharmacy is to hung up on the vaccine to care about keeping other medications in stock. The lady in front of me only got 6 of 90 pills she was needing, they were out of my insulin, that I depend on, said it would be 2-3 days before they get some in. The lady behind me only got 1 out of 2 of her prescriptions because they were out. Pharmacist just said it wasn't her fault.

The most unprofessional pharmacy I have ever visited. They had a worker who should not have been handling prescriptions and refills answering the phone, he had no idea what he was talking about. I was picking up birth control, and he said that they were low on stock, and I would only be able to receive 50 pills?? I asked him to clarify if we were speaking about the correct medication, because if you take birth control, you know that it comes in a small pack and that would make no sense whatsoever. I asked to speak to someone else because he did not know what the problem was, but he said there was no one else I could speak to. I then asked when I should pick up my medicine, and he (a man named avory) told me to head up to the store, and that it would be ready in 20 minutes. I live almost 20 minutes away, so I headed up there. When I got there, the man was working, and I asked him for my prescription. He said that he actually needed to call my prescription in to my doctor, and it was not ready and may not be ready until the next day. I then told him that I drove all the way up there because an employee falsely told me it would be ready. He then LAUGHED in my FACE and said “yeah that was me.” He started to back up and walk away from me. He did not apologize once, or seem sorry at all that he messed up my day. Instead he laughed at me. I am an 18 year old adult woman who takes care of herself, and they were talking to me this way because I appear so young. I will not take disrespect simply because I am young. They ended up telling me to call my doctor so that they could get the prescription ready for me before I left the store. I called my doctor, and they informed me that the pharmacist, had never even called in my prescription with my doctors as he said that he had. I did not end up getting my medication until the next day. The next day, the pharmacy workers were wonderful. It was a whole other staff in the building and I had no problems with them. Then, I took a survey about my experience and told them my problems. I had a manager call me back, and she basically told me that he was in training, and that he was only a cashier at the time and should not have been taking my call. They failed to realize his error. The manager on the phone told me that the worker was nervous, and that is why he acted the way that he did. Now, I can understand that. I have a panic attack disorder. However, I also work in customer service. I would NEVER speak to someone and treat someone the way that I was treated, even with my anxiety. I would still AT LEAST say that I am sorry. I would not LAUGH at someone and walk away. That is unacceptable. I am still upset about my experience, and the manager on the phone was very dismissive about my complaints.

Very unprofessional. Can't wait until all pharmacies go to mail order. Tierra is rude and needs a new line of work.
