After 3 yrs still in disarray from renovations. FRONT Staff not educated enough regarding dog basics. One back staff is rude and pulls dogs by slip leads.

They do amazing work with the animals and our animals love them, but what we are being told, offered, and the prices seem very inconsistent.

I've been a continuous patron of this establishment for some time now since moving to Claremore and I usually like to wait until I have visited someplace several times before writing a review for it. First and foremost, the staff are great! I haven't had any complaints towards staffing whatsoever. They do a great job and I always appreciate their recommendations and the care they take with my dog. The biggest down-side for this place is the pricing for their services. Just recently, I took my dog in to potentially get treatment for ear mites. I've conducted business with them before, so, I was expecting a relatively high bill, but I was not expecting it to be much higher than originally thought out. Mind you, this is the only Veterinarian I've been to for my dog's treatments and such, so, I'm not able to compare prices with other establishments, but I believe it's still worth noting for others to consider. After asking me a couple questions about my dog, Bull's, activity relating to his ear's and looking in his ears with an otoscope, I was estimated over $335 for all their recommended treatments. Their lower estimate was over $275 and that was with taking out "Ear Mite - Microscopic ID" and "Ear Cytology." I ended up leaving with just the antibiotic ointment and the "Telemedicine Exam" for $75 and will be applying the treatment myself for the next couple of weeks. Like I said previously, I had the expectation of having a high bill, but I have no idea it would've so much higher than like, $150. It may just be that those are the standard pricings for things such as this, but like, goodness, I didn't expect I'd have to settle between potentially fixing the issue or guaranteeing it. It's just really defeating and disappointing. I was thankful that I was able to leave with something that could potentially help. If you find another establishment that offers the same services at a more competitive price, go with the second option. I've attached a copy of the bill to act as a reference for whomever may go in with no prior expectation of pricing.

My son's cat had pinworms that look like rice that I recognize from before so I called around to clinics. I was told $31 for visit, estimate of D warmer medication up to $35 for medication not including fecal matter testing. I was looking at about $100 just for D warmer medication.Crazy. So I called Ark Animal hospital and right away Mandy answered. She told me is all they need Is the weight of cat and she also had me explained to her what I seen which was confirmed as pinworms she asked does it look like rice and I said yes she said pinworms aI had to do was weigh my cat and call her with the weight and they would have the medicine ready and it was under $20.....SO PROFESSIONAL& HELPING PETS NOT EVERY CENT THEY CAN GET.
