The J.M. Davis Arms & Historical Museum is a very interesting and amazing museum with a huge and extensive collection. It features an incredible arms collection from some of the earliest firearms to modern, with tons of displays. It is more than just guns, with other really cool stuff including Indian artifacts, Native American items, Oklahoma and local Claremore history displays, sculptures, saddles, taxidermy, and steins. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. There is a Route 66 gift shop and a virtual range. Visitors could spend hours there and return many times to see all the displays.
Awesome collection of firearms that defi your imagination of what technology existed many years and centuries ago. Great for adults and teenagers. Maybe too much for little kids.

It's still amazes me a museum of this caliber is still free. Even if you're not a gun lover there are other things to see there.
