“Grand Meridian RV Resort is hands‑down the better choice if you’re looking for a clean, family‑friendly, respectful place to stay at South Grand Lake. After spending time at both parks, the difference is night and day.

The facilities here are simply better — paved roads, well‑kept grounds, a real family pool, a clubhouse that actually feels inviting, and RV sites that are level, clean, and in good shape. Kids can actually play here. There are inflatables, activities, and a general sense that families are welcome instead of tolerated.

Getting in touch with management can take a little patience, but when you do reach them, they’re pleasant, respectful, and never judgmental. They answer questions without acting like you’re bothering them, and they treat residents like adults — something I can’t say about the resort across the street.

Compared to Grand Lake RV Resort, where the atmosphere is tense, overly policed, and inconsistent, Grand Meridian feels like a community. No one is filming you at the pool, no one is interrogating your guests, and no one is nitpicking your every move.

It’s simply a better environment — calmer, friendlier, and far more family‑oriented. If you’re choosing between the two parks, Grand Meridian is the one that actually feels like home.”

“Har-Ber Village Museum is great and I do recommend visiting it whether you're a local or tourist.

However, did you know they have a nature trail, and its free to explore?! We visit it regularly. It is a great place to get outdoors and to go for a little stoll.

There are two-miles of trails, some paved, which are handicap accessible and others that are non-paved.

As birders, this, is also a great spot to sit along the lakeside and watch as the birds fly by. Sometimes, you may even catch a pelican or crane swoop down after a fish.”
