The lady that answered the phone was very nice and very helpful however the lady that I got transferred to was quite rude and felt their business made plenty of mo ey and didnt need mine, I explained how I lost everything in the fires that took many houses around and I needed propane for an rv that my autistic family is forced to live in until I can finish my trailer, I have no license and the rv isnt tagged because I dont have the money and because it isnt road legal they won't fill the propane tank!

I went in to get my propane tank recertified. The technician said it would take about 45 minutes and I ate next door at a restaurant. (Great Food)
Afterward the technician sent me on my way and later in the week I found out one of my valves had some issues.
When I called in the company owner took an immediate interest and paid for the fix.
He also helped me find a branch near Tulsa.
My experience with Maltsberger has been great and as a small business owner I would absolutely recommend them!

Maltsberger propane is amazing!!! Got in a pinch and they came thru quickly on short notice. Michelle is the best!!!! Don’t bother using any other propane company.

My parents had used Maltsberger for decades, and after my father passed, my mother continued to use them until she reached a point where she need to move in with us. When she moved in with us we gained some visibility into her finances, and found that she was spending a significant amount of money on propane to Maltsberger. The tank which was leased from them clearly had a leak and there was always a strong propane smell around the tank. There was no odor in the house, but a very strong smell at the tank. Additionally, they would just show up and fill the tank, sometimes twice a month. Even after we asked them to stop automatically refilling the tank, they continued to do so.
In looking at prior bank statements, my elderly mother literally paid Maltsberger tens of thousands of dollars and at some points over a thousand dollars a month. However, Maltsberger never questioned why she was using so much propane, nor did they ever disclosure the very apparent leak at the tank. So my elderly mother, very likely paid Maltsberger tens of thousands of dollars for propane that leaked out, and was not used. Maltsberger and their employees would have had to have known that their was a leak, and there was no way a elderly woman living in a 700 sf house could use as much propane as she was paying for. Another aspect of this, was that this posed a significant safety risk to keep filling a leaking tank, which frankly could have led to a catastrophe.
After complaining to them about the odor on a couple of occasions we had them come out an perform a leak check. During this, I brought up the fact they had been filling the leaking tank for years and the technician be belligerent to the point that I had to request he leave the property.
Maltsberger portrays themselves as a small family owned company. However, they are a conglomerate of several companies who care about the bottom line more than there customers. They should have resolved this issue years ago, but chose to take advantage of an elderly woman to increase their profits.

Just moved out here last summer and never had propane gas as we always had access to city natural gas. In the beginning we kept a close eye on the levels but they never seemed to move so when winter hit we barely checked. When we finally did we were dangerously low so I called your company and luckily you all were able to come out the same day. Everyone from the person on the phone to the Technician that came out were super nice and helpful. The Technician Mike B. did an a great job informing us of so many thing we didn't know about propane. He slowly went through everything with us and really went above and beyond in every way. I couldn't recommend him and Maltsberger Propane company any higher. Thank you all for everything, we will continue to use your company going forward. God Bless.

I’m so happy with my purchase. We bought a 500 gallon propane tank and had it set and filled by Maltsberger. The technician Brad came out as scheduled and set our tank. After he set it he asked if we had any questions or concerns. He’s such a nice guy. Next day our propane was delivered. I shopped around and they offered the best price on a propane tank by at least 20 percent. They just predicted it to be much colder this year so happy we picked them. Thank you guys for your excellent service!!
