I just went to the store and the cashier chirs was very rude. Not a happy man and you can tell he doesn't like to help anyone. I dont know about you all but i will not be going back to that store anymore.

The guy that works there talks more than he works and about things he shouldn’t be talking about at work and always cussing. I go about once a week or every other week and he is always this way. Tonight he asked if I wanted a receipt and I said no then shoved the item I bought across the counter at me instead of bagging it. Won’t be back.

First time and last time visiting this location. I frequent DG as a whole across the nation, and I have never had an issue like this before. I was stopped at this location with a passenger (for a reputable ride share company), and I decided to handle some business and get a drink. Usually, the monster coffee’s are in smaller fridges somewhere in the front, but this store has them in the long side refrigerator along with the milks, etc. So, to save time, I asked the gentleman for assistance in locating them and he guided me to the Starbucks ones, I politely said, okay, but I am looking for the monster brand (my preference). He didn’t know and said he has been working here for 10 years or whatever the duration. So, I found them, and he stated, “I thought you had already checked over there before asking.” Okay….
As I can overcome that and it wasn’t receive worthy, what is, is my cash deposit I needed to make. I was handled very uniquely. Recently, I have come across a large amount of cash that I have been breaking up into deposits- all from a bank, with bands from the bank on them. I asked the generic questions, and was misled on the deposit rules. However, I pulled the money out and went to hand him $500 and he was distraught, looking at me like I was a drug dealer, thief or something of the such. He marked every single $20 bill, and held random ones to the light. At the same time stating, “I have never seen you in here before. There has been counterfeits and this is nothing personal. So, I need to check these. Even if I have seen you, I need to make sure. “ then continues to ask questions while checking the bills, I politely told him I’m from out of town and conducting business and he followed, “yeah, I have never seen you before, so….” So WHAT?!
Even in other states, I have never been asked a series of questions and profiled for having money? Weirdest encounter and I will not be returning to this area’s DG. The lady whom I was giving a ride to, Collinsville Native also stated that he has always been rude. Checking the money is one thing, but 20’s are rarely counterfeit and being probed while doing so… crazy. It was only $500.00, too….

Best DG. Always well stocked with reasonable prices. Jon and Robert are always very helpful whenever I need anything.

They have good prices and a pretty good variety of things that you might need. Their prices are maybe 2 to 4 cents higher than Wal-Mart but it's worth paying a few pennies more to avoid all the hassles and the crowds at Wal-Mart.
