Business Beware!!!
If you own any type of small business, do not file with H&R Block. They are for simple tax return filings. They have no idea what they are doing with business taxes. I filed my 2021 business taxes with Betty button at this location after filing with Betty, the IRS rejected the return 20 minutes after filing. Betty button and H&R Block did not notify me about the rejection. I went on living my life thinking that my taxes were filed. Fast forward to today. Now we are in the works of securing SBA funds for working capital for our business but upon inspection, they came across our 2021 business taxes not filed. I assume this was a mistake because I remember going in and signing with Betty. After investigation is when we find out the IRS had rejected it that very same day. I’ve called Betty and she has been able to confirm that she never filed it. There was no remorse, no responsibility, and no ownership of her mistake. I took things to the district manager to see what can be done. The best they can do is to refund my refiling fees. The damage the H&R Block and Betty has caused is so much more than a $700 filing fee. They have no plans to make this right and the agent will be able to continue working for them while me, the small business owner, have to clean up the mess that I paid them to do. It was also later found out that the Personal returned that she had filed did not depreciate expenses to my benefit. Later I had a real CPA amend her return and find almost a $50,000 difference.
H&R Block has a no surprise guarantee. I told them “I was pretty surprised when I found out my 2021s weren’t filed 2 years later.”
Anyone that owns a business please do yourself a major favor and go find a real CPA. Do not use the incompetent, untrained, unwatched, people they have working here.

I believe there is always room for improvement so I gave a four. However, that being said, Bettie Button has been doing my taxes for years now and greatly appreciate her professionalism and how much she genuinely cares for her clients. She is a beautiful and loving person and HR Block is blessed to have her working for them and I have been blessed to have her doing my taxes year after year.
