About Washington County SPCA
The Washington County SPCA shelter is an independent non-profit organization that takes in all local cats and dogs, regardless of their health, breed, or age. The shelter exists solely on the donations of generous and caring supporters and is not affiliated with or funded by Washington County or national organizations. As the community's only open-access shelter, they offer low-cost spay/neuter vouchers and collaborate with other animal assistance groups to actively promote suitable animal adoptions and transports. Customers praise the friendly and patient staff, who do their best to help people find the perfect pet for their family. Many visitors have walked away with a new furry friend, expressing their satisfaction with the adoption process and the overall fantastic job the facility does in caring for the animals.

The people displayed the professionalism, knowledge, compassion, and determination that makes this one of my best animal care experiences in my nearly 80 years. Hanna was cared for and handled like every organization should strive to achieve. God bless these folks.
