I’ve used this bank for YEARS. Never had an issue until yesterday. Their ATM was down, so went through the drive-thru to pull $40 out. There was $46 in my account. Somehow the $40 never showed up that it was taken out until 10 am today. On top of it took out another $30 and said it was an overdraft fee. If we look at my account history I have not been overdrawn in anyway. So long story short the bank took $30 from me and told me it’s my fault.Edit: was told three different times on the phone the charge would be reversed and it hasn’t been.

After 30 years of banking here they started putting 10 business day holds on checks over about $1,000 and they removed my overdraft without notice but then continued to overdraft things after saying there is no overdraft. Then when I called VP (?) Burton, in a condescending manner, it’s going to cost you more to not overdraft. That doesn’t even make sense. The girl who greets people who sits out in front of Casey Rain’s office consistently gives incorrect answers about banking over the years and the incorrect answers always happen to go against the customer. I had to argue with her that someone who is not on a checking account cannot sign a check!

It's a bank with employees that barely tolerate customers yeah I'm not speaking about all the employees just everyone I've ever dealt with it's like I'm inconveniencing them when I show up there... It's like I'm interrupting their social hour or something you know what would fix the problem if banks actually treated their employees as human beings paid them good enough to where they actually want to show up and work that would probably fix a lot of the problem...

I want to start off by saying First Bank & Trust Company is such an amazing atmosphere to be apart of! So friendly, so kind. Being able to assist each customer that walks in the building is a huge opportunity to continue to build numerous relationships. Love to see everyone's smile!! Way to go FB&T!! :)

Impossible to use online banking - one of the worst systems I've encountered. Went two weeks without a debit card due to "system issues" - remarkably, once I started making it clear I wasn't going to put up with it any more, the "system issues" were resolved in 5 minutes. Force you to change your card/pin/etc every 6 months or so and make a complete mess of it (i.e. you won't have a usable card for a few days) every time. Please please please do not bank here.
