If you enjoy your burgers as crunchy as an ice cube this is the spot for you, chips and fish more like chips and bubble gum. This is the spot for you. Drinks were good. Nothing else. Definitely a spot you come to with a full stomach.

Usually have a wonderful time here most of the service staff are absolutely amazing. But ordered a beer today and it was poured wrong leaving a thick(over and inch and half) head that instantly disappeared as it was placed in front of me, Never took a sip. Didn't feel right. Walked out. EDIT: To be fair when I told the bartender I did not want the beer she asked me if there was anything wrong with it and asked if i wanted something else. But personally if a bartender can't look at the beer she poured and know what was wrong with it. I don't want to be served by them. That's why I choose to leave. I went to another bar and ordered another beer in the same size glass and let the head settle and this is the difference I'm talking about. 2 or 3 oz difference in pour.

This is a solid restaurant. Moderately noisy but it is a bar and restaurant. Family friendly, good food. Reasonable pricing.
We enjoy this restaurant.

We decided to visit based on the menu; it had a surprising amount of choices. The food was quite good, and the prices weren’t exorbitant. The peanut butter pie, however, was the best dessert I’d eaten in months; I strongly advise getting it if nothing else.
Overall, worth a visit in my opinion.

If you're in Durant and craving a burger with a kick, look no further than The Ice House. I tried their jalapeño bacon cheeseburger with onion rings, and wow—it absolutely delivered. The burger came stacked with melted cheese, crispy bacon, and just the right amount of spicy jalapeños to wake up your taste buds without overwhelming the flavor. The bun was soft and fresh, holding everything together like a champ. And the onion rings? Golden, crunchy perfection. Easily some of the best I've had in a long time.
The only hiccup was the indoor temperature—it was literally a little too “Ice House.” The overhead fans made the place feel a bit drafty, and when we asked about turning them down, we were told the remotes weren’t available. Not a dealbreaker, but a heads-up if you run cold.
Still, the food more than made up for it. If you're a burger fan and like a little heat, this one’s worth the stop. Just maybe bring a light jacket!

I went there for the first time yesterday. It was a Saturday around 2 pm. Not super busy. It’s a seat yourself kind of place. We sat in one of the main areas and waited close to 10 minutes. No one ever even came to talk to us. We watched another set of customers sit down. They were soon greeted and given a menu. I got the waitress’s attention but she didn’t seem to want to be bothered. There was another girl working at the bar a few feet away that could care less we were there. My wife and I walked out and I made bit of a scene to let them know how horrible the service is.
If you want good service, go to Chilis or something. I guarantee it will be quicker service, more menu options, and better prices.
UPDATE: The restaurant responded below and gave an inaccurate/ untruthful response to what occurred. First off, it is a fact that we were ignored for a significant period of time while other customers were tended to including people after we came in. Secondly, I did not come in the next day. I just told the waitress who ignored us how poor the customer service was loud enough for everyone to hear as I walked out the door. I came back in 30 seconds later to discuss the issue with the manager alone without making any sort of scene.
The management response to this post shows they care more about inaccurately running down a mistreated customer. One thing you can bank on is that my account is 100% what happened. This place is not serious about customers. Read the other negative reviews. There’s a theme here.

After looking at the reviews I had high hopes for this place. It was pretty dirty and the food was mediocre at best. The service was good though and the location was convenient for traveling. Wouldn’t come back though.

The food was pretty good I got a chicken salad and after 4 bites that seasoning is so absolutely overpowering kinda disappointed because I eat so much most restaurants I have to double order. Service was pretty good the waiter he came brought us our drinks faster than alot of restaurants. It has hot as hell I was sweating so bad the entire time.
