“Stopped in at Southern Steer Butcher to pick up a Boston butt for the Fourth of July weekend, and I'm so glad we did. Miss Carol met us practically at the door, said she didn't think she'd seen us in before, and offered to show us around. She walked me through the seasonings, jellies, and rubs, took me through the meat case, and told me if I didn't see something I liked, they'd cut it for me. She even showed me the dry aging setup.
The prices were good, the sides looked phenomenal, and the help was just fantastic. The jerky is outstanding, and I'm especially excited to try the handmade bratwurst. This is officially my new favorite butcher — I can't wait to come back and work my way through all the sides.
If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in. You won't be disappointed.”

“There isn’t a better spot to purchase steaks from. I have bought these steaks for people out of town and they are always a hit. I love the seasoning mix. I love the potatoes that come with filets. Personally- I eat the ribeye burgers like they are going out of style… but every time I take a bite of anything from Rhett’s I end up smiling with gratitude that this premium butcher is in town!”
