Danforth Animal Hospital began in 1981 as the "Downtown Animal Clinic" and has since grown to become a well-respected veterinary hospital. The practice was initially operated by Dr. Ron Laughlin and his wife Nancy, but has expanded over the years to include Dr. Brian Hall, Dr. Donna Woods, Dr. Mendy Laughlin, and Dr. Adam. The hospital's current location, designed and constructed specifically as a veterinary facility, received a National Merit Award in 1987. Clients consistently praise the staff for their caring and compassionate approach when treating their pets. The doctors are known for their expertise, with one client noting that Dr. Mendy was able to identify and address a chronic issue that had been overlooked by a previous veterinarian. Clients also appreciate the hospital's ability to accommodate timely appointments, even for urgent cases. Overall, Danforth Animal Hospital is highly regarded for its exceptional veterinary care, friendly staff, and commitment to the well-being of its patients. Clients express unwavering loyalty, stating that they would not take their pets anywhere else.
I took my cat in for a visit. This was my first time visiting this place and I was beyond impressed by the staff and doctors. This might sound weird but it didn’t feel like a pet hospital it felt like a human hospital because the staff was so kind and caring. More so than “real hospitals”.

Friendly & professional. Very kind & caring veterinary services. Our previous vet retired. Danforth Animal Hospital has been a great transition. Update: had to put one Chihuahua to sleep. Dr Hall and staff were amazing!

Been taking my dog here for years. Been an amazing place the whole time and they've gotten my dog through a great 9 years plus. I drive 30 minutes to come here and would drive further if I needed to.
