I met Shari Benton a little over a year ago when I became a real estate agent. I was immediately impressed with her professionalism, knowledge of her product and services and of course her positive attitude.I recently recommended my first-time home buyer to use First American Title in Edmond and below is my personal experience with them:When I contacted Shawna Rhines about title work for a purchase she was beyond professional and explained everything I needed to do. I sent over exactly what they required and First American went right to work. I was in constant contact with Shawna and Natalie Reid during the process.Finally, the closing day has arrived on January 25, 2019, and First American was ready to go. They had been ready for a few days now. The mortgage company we were working with however was far behind the curve. (They will receive their own review and a phone call). When I arrived a bit early to close the transaction, the documents and information from the mortgage company had not yet arrived. I diligently worked with Shawna and Natalie attempting to get what they needed.After arriving at 3 pm and my clients arriving at 330pm, we waited until almost 7 pm to close. Completely unacceptable in anyone’s mind.Understand that Shawna, Natalie, and the entire First American staff work hard, made us comfortable, accommodated us all and stayed long past their time to go home and away from their families (on a Friday night).First American had absolutely nothing to do with us being there so long, it was because of the mortgage companies’ incompetence.I cannot begin to express my sincere gratitude for the ladies in this office. They are true professionals, extremely patient, kind and caring, precise in their work and had a smile on their faces the entire time. As far as I’m concerned, I will recommend First American Title in Edmond to every one of my clients. In my eyes, there is no other Title company in existence.Thank you all (Shari, Shawna, Natalie and everyone else I did not meet) for your dedication, hard work, kindness, patience and making sure my clients and all parties were comfortable and well taken care of.
