The brake stop the car on a dime! So pleased with the repairs I'm sending everyone to Jimmy's Auto Repair. Can't complain about the price I paid them either. Try them yourself you'l see

I've brought my old rinky dink truck to their shop a couple times now, I've had no real complaints until now. My last visit was for a steering column noise, they had the truck for a week, and told me they couldn't go much further than pulling the steering wheel off because of parts scarcity. Disappointing, sure, but I partly expected it, 33 year old truck and whatnot, so no big deal. That look around was 150 bucks, okay whatever, again a little disappointing since nothing could've been fixed, but I understand it. However, what I can't understand is how interior trim wasn't reinstalled correctly, the trim pieces on the column itself and on the dashboard panel directly below weren't slotted in as they should've been, I pulled them off to reattach then correctly, and the threads on the dash trim and hood release were galled. I really don't understand how this could've happened except for it being a rushes re assembly. I hope they mounted the wheel back on properly
This is a reply to the owners response: I have no animosity towards you guys with what happened. Heck, it's still such a small issue I had no problem getting it all put back together myself, I do feel the need to mention this however, because worst case scenario, another customer might never notice something off like trim panels being a bit off. Like I said in the review, I have no issue with you guys not being able to find parts, it is what it is. As long as my wheel doesn't physically fall off, which I really doubt it would, this wouldn't stop me from coming back for anything else.

We had brought our truck to them with a check engine light flashing. They replaced some of the spark plugs and then after that the truck still wasn’t driving great. After bringing it back to them months later they said they felt nothing wrong after driving it and couldn’t find anything wrong. Told us we could do a transmission flush and that might help in which we agreed not knowing better. That was 700 dollars for something we did not need. We ended up picking up the truck and continuing to drive it. The check engine light then came on again and the car was barely drivable. We went somewhere else in which they told us it’s the spark plugs again and that this place had not done well in the repair the first time and it has caused an engine misfire again. After going somewhere else the truck now drives great. Very concerning to me how they told us they couldn’t feel or see anything wrong and then the truck had a second engine misfire after bringing it to them. We had a few good experiences with this place in the past but after this time we will not be using them again.

I have had bad luck in the past with some older trucks and they help me everytime! Most recently, my 05 tacoma decided to die in the middle on the intersection on monday. Got towed to jimmys. My fuel pump ended it's life in combo with my gas gage not reading right. They always do their best to help and Gina is a 10/10 receptionist!!!!

Everyone here is incredibly friendly. I brought in a 22-year-old Wrangler project — a real heap — that I’ve been working on, but I just didn’t feel like tackling the ball joints myself. Working on someone else’s project is never fun, and as expected, the original issue I came in for ended up revealing several more problems. Even so, they had me back on the road the very next day.
I also asked them to track down a stubborn vacuum leak that had been driving me crazy, and sure enough, they found it and fixed it. These days, it’s rare to find mechanics who can take on complicated, messy projects like mine and still turn them around so quickly. I can’t recommend these folks highly enough.

It was actually recommended, went there, told them that it was the rear differential and i wanted a quote. Left the car. They call me to come, and they said , that they did a diagnosis, that it was the rear differential (like i said) and that it was $4500. They charged me $65 to tell me what i already knew and give me a quote. Went to other place down the street. Had it done for $1600. ( and they didn't charge me for the quote).
Yo can charge whatever you want, but don't charge to give a quote... Obviously, i do not recommend it.
