We are new to the area and were recommended to MidFirst by local family members. The Assistant Center Manager, Janice Cowley, has been exceptional. She is professional, courteous and goes out of her way to be helpful. She is friendly and has made us feel welcome. I cannot say enough about how grateful we are for the service rendered at the May Ave location, especially by Janice Cowley.

This location placed a FIFTEEN DAY hold on a check from a title company for the sell of our house.. check cleared in 1 day. I called to have the hold removed, they took my name and number down then never heard back from them. Laziness. All they had to do was call the title company and verify the funds.

Very rude teller. If I could give zero stars I would.

Very disappointed. I met the marketing person in the parking lot at this location. Meeting with another MidFirst customer. She was friendly and asked if I had an account. I said no and she told me they were offering a free $300 if you opened an account. I asked what the catch was and she said none. I asked if I had to keep a certain amount and she said no, it was just free and would take 2 minutes. I told her she talked me into it. 30 Minutes Later I go to sign the account docs and they give me the fine print that you must have a minimum $500 reoccurring ach deposit. I wouldn’t call that no stings attached personally. So don’t be deceived and don’t waste your time. If it’s sounds to good to be true it generally is. Even with a local bank.

I have been banking with Midfirst for over a decade. I have always either deposited or cashed my husband’s checks through my account for the last 7 & 1/2 years (even before we were married and shared a last name) with zero issues.Yesterday, I went to cash 2 checks that amounted to $59 and some change. And was told that since my husband was not on my account or was not present and they didn’t witness him endorse his checks that they could not cash them for me.So the drive-thru teller gets her manager and he comes out and says the same thing. I explain to him that this is the location I use most if the time and I have never had an issue cashing or depositing my husband’s checks without him.The manager tells me that he will cash the checks for me this one time but he can’t do it anymore without my husband present. I told him that would be fine, because this was the first I was hearing about this. Then he proceeds to pretty much repeat the same thing they both told me about how it’s their policy, and then says “I’m sorry” and sent both checks back out to me.I said “I thought you just said you would cash them for me this one time?”And he said “Well, if something happens, it will come back on me. I’m sorry.”So, he just lied to my face. Great management you have there. So I left that location and went down the street and had ZERO issues cashing them. So, it’s your policy, yet I have been doing this for over 7 years with no problem; just had to drive down the street to a different location and also had no problem. Seems like the only problem is this specific location. And the fact that the checks combined total only amounted to less than $60….and the majority of the time I am depositing my husband’s PAYCHECK that is over $1000 WITH NO PROBLEM….C’mon now…Not to mention, I have had drive-thru tellers at this location comment on things that did not have to do with my banking needs or their job description (trying to give personal advice, etc).

I wish I could give a negative number this is the worst bank I have ever delt with to many problems to tell all. I have personal and bis accounts here and will be closing asap. The people that work at this location are extremely rude and treat people as if they are an inconvenience to them for asking any kind of questions I will continue to leave bad reviews daily on all platforms. They ar absolute garbage!!!!

Love this location. Love Naomi. She has taken great care of us since we opened our account. Most of staff is is equally great. The drive-through could be a little faster though.

I’m very disappointed in my experience today at this location with Naomi (who I believe is in management). I have a small business and often receive checks that need to be cashed. I felt like I was being treated as if I was fraudulent. The first thing she said to me when I tried to cash my checks was “Do you even bank here?” She said this in a very rude way. I have banked there for over 15 years. And then she continued to question me. The worst part is she has cashed my checks before and gave me the same similar attitude. She even was the one who helped me set up a DBA account a few years ago but proceeds to ask me if I even bank there. I understand needing clarification when it comes to checks but would never treat a customer this way.

Naomi Asagun was the most amazing professional I’ve ever dealt with at a bank. She is very sweet and informative. By far one of the kindest ladies I’ve encountered. I recommend midfirst for business or personal use. And ask for Naomi!

Being retired I want to try and save a little money each month, went there to open a savings account, left with a checking account. Anyway gave the guy my deposit and it wasn’t until after he deposited my money he told me it will not be available for 30 days. Mind you it’s already taken out of my outside account. I don’t know what to make of this. This is bad business practice Emilio.
