I used to frequent Mod regularly but hadn't been there in more than a year. I had good experiences in the past. On 4/25/2025, I went for a mani and pedi. I get color on my toes but like a buff and shine on my finger nails, no polish. I won't be going back. It's quite unfortunate, but the service was not relaxing at all. PROS: I didn't have to wait long, and I was greeted kindly. Those are the only things that were nice. This is what gets it 2 stars, and that's generous. CONS: The chemical smell was more pungent than I remember. The foot and leg massage that came with the pedicure was absolutely painful. I grimaced and said so one time. The nail tech did not ease up. This morning, the top of my right foot is terribly sore when I walk. I still have callouses on my big toes, which is one reason I get pedis. The techs own finger nails dug into my feet and toes during the massage. For the mani, the nail tech didn't know what a buff and shine was, and no matter how I phrased it, she didn't understand. The arm and hand massage was horribly painful, and when I grimaced and let out a quiet ouch, the tech apologized and then massaged just as hard. I left there with dull, rough finger nails and sore hands. The sad thing about any appointment these days is one nail tech will be rough, and the next nail tech will barely massage at all. There is never a just right. This was the most NOT RELAXING experience I've had in two decades. I won't be back.

The lady who did my nails did gel when I asked for dip then charged me 50$. I think it's because she doesn't know how to do gel. My nails came out very pointy. The lady was very young and probably new.

I am extremely upset with MOD. I had my nails done by Kathy a month and a half ago for my son's wedding and five of my fingernails fell off within a week and two of my fingernails got fungus. I called her and told her that this happened, and I scheduled to go see her and I assumed that she would repair and fix my nails for free. However, she did repair my nails but charged me $55. I feel that that service should have been free. I have never lost a nail since I have been going there two years very disappointed in the customer service. Also, The English Vietnamese communication is very hard.

Staff are very friendly and treat everyone with respect. They even went out of their way to provide service to a large irritable red headed lady who I'm sure no one could please. The staff here also go above and beyond to provide the best service available.
