The Salvation Army Family Store & Donation Center is a big store with lots of stuff and a great selection. Purchases fund the Adult Rehabilitation program, providing spiritual, social, and emotional assistance. The staff are helpful and offer the best customer service, sometimes going above and beyond. The store is noted for its cleanliness, which is a huge factor. Prices are great, though some find home goods overpriced and clothing prices a bit high or unmarked. There are lots of very cute things and good quality items, but also fairly well-used items with some significant stains and rips. Clothing is hung up by color, not size, and price tags are stapled to the front. It is definitely worth a look.

Purses that are $19.99 with scratches? Are they cuckoo-for-Cocoa Puffs?! I’m mainly judging by the handbag section, because that’s what I was hunting, for a craft project. Prices were just silly.
