I originally started going here because they accept care credit, but every experience I’ve had here has been unbelievably great. The vet I see is always so great and kind and the staff as a whole has never been anything but nice and helpful. Obviously, watching your puppy get shots can be a sad thing, but each time, it’s like he didn’t even feel it. The vet and staff were super gentle! So now I’ve started building relationships here and they know my dogs. I can’t imagine going anywhere else anytime soon. Not only do I love this vet, my dogs are starting to like all the staff as well and are getting used to them!

Really appreciated how smooth our first appointment was. As first-time cat owners we had a ton of questions which were cheerfully answered.

Would not trust this practice with cancer treatment or cremation services ever again. My cat was diagnosed with cancer and the vet basically told me ‘sorry for your loss’ = theres nothing I’m going to do. I took my cat to another vet who helped me try to treat the cancer. Several weeks later my cat was lethargic and having breathing difficulty and I took him here again. The vet was busy so they sent someone below him to see my cat. They told me it was his “new normal” but maybe lowering his medication dose would help. He died 4 days later. He was slowing dying and they told me it was his new normal and to go home. This practice failed my cat and failed to give me the opportunity to make a humane decision by failing to have a VET exam him and failed to talk to the pet owner at all. 1 year later, my GUINEA PIG died. my mom called around town to vets to see who offers cremation services near me. she said she called santa fe vet and they said that I could take him in anytime to be cremated. I called around 7:30am to confirm I could bring in my GUINEA PIG to get cremated and the woman on the phone said yes. I walked in to the lobby and the two women at the desk did not greet me for at least 3 minutes. They let me just stand there holding my dead guinea pig in a box while they sat there. When a lady with a face piercing finally greeted me, she said “You here for the hamster?” I said, GUINEA PIG. She prompted me to pay and then said “You didn’t want him back did you?” And I said, yes actually I was hoping I could. She told me it was around $280. After checking my receipt for his cremation, they didn’t even get his NAME right. I was already upset because my pet just died - you would think a vet office would have the sensitivity to this issue but they did not care about me or my poor pets at all.

This practice is excellent. Everyone has been so nice and helpful with all three of my fur babies. All three are in the older aging process and each one has their challenges but the physicians here are amazing. They truly care and have gone above and beyond in listening and trying to help in every way. I highly recommend both veterinarians. I have met both of them and they are both very caring and knowledgeable. The assistants are very caring and are very thorough.

After using this clinic for six years, I have been treated poorly and have chosen to change vets. Had my dog there for teeth cleaning and extractions which is an expensive procedure. Bella was at the clinic for annual shots and meds 10 days prior which was over $200 and was paid, before booking the teeth cleaning I asked if I could pay half at the date of service and the remaining within the month. The receptionist said she would ask the vet, and came back and said he approved. I had been allowed to split the payments before when it was expensive visits. The day of service, when I picked Bella up and was prepared to pay the 50% the receptionist said I had to pay in full. I explained that I had gotten approval prior to booking the service, at which time she consulted with the vet and he did not remember approving a 50% payment. The receptionist was rude and belligerent, pretty much accused me of lying, and I was embarrassed and humiliated. I paid the $200 I had agreed to, because It was all I had available, but my daughter called in the next morning and paid the balance, which made over $600 paid to them in less than two weeks. There had been other things that had happened in the past that made me feel like the service was less than i thought it should be. On this visit I called it to the vets attention that Bella had lost weight and I was concerned to have her put to sleep for the procedure. He said she looks healthy to him and brought in an infant scale to weigh her again. She weighed 1 lb more than the receptionist had recorded. He said that happens all the time, the receptionists are not good about insuring the pet is on the scale properly , when they record the weight. Bella weighs 10.8 pounds and the weight recorded was 10. At one point her weight was recorded at 15, the vet said he doubted she had ever weighed near that amount. I think that is unacceptable. My opinion. I was always pleased when I saw Dr. Paul, the time prior to the procedure, we saw a younger Dr. He was abrupt and hurried. It was the $200 visit. I will do the follow up visit, because the fee was included in the charge already paid, but will pick up her records and have since secured a new Vet.
