After relocating to Elk City, I was a little hesitant of bringing my little, old, mini-schnauzer to a whole new veterinarian and staff. Western Animal Hospital immediately received us with genuine warmth and welcomeness. The geriatric exam complete with in house lab-work enabled us to get immediate results. “Always been really good to our boys! A GS mix and a goldendoodle. Whether it’s dog boarding, shots, winter grass in his paws, eating a rubber duck, a tummy bug or the runs, they’ve always gotten our dogs taken care of. In the case of the rubber duck Christy got us in within a little over an hour and got an X ray going ASAP when we arrived. They deal with a lot, and handle it well, livestock included. If I had large livestock I’d recommend them as well for that. Fair and reasonable prices all around. I’ve never once felt they pushed anything ever unnecessarily or unexpectedly. Christy communicates honestly, and despite some reviews stating she is rude, I’d disagree with that notion 100%. She’s quick, efficient, doesn’t leave you sitting there all day, and she’s informative. She even knows our dogs by name and their temperaments off the bat. Do more than a one time visit, and get to know this place! They are wonderful people running a down to earth family business. All who care genuinely for your pets as if they were their own. Would recommend! Taylor is a kind and personable vet!”

“They were all super friendly to us. It was our first time there and they treated us like long term clients. We are new to the area and went to a different vet initially, but they seemed so bothered that we were there and were NOT friendly. Red Earth was the opposite!”
