Purchased a new $569 gas lawn mower this morning to replace my 6 year old electric one. I opened the mower ran it for about 30 minutes and was not pleased with its performance. Just to make sure it wasn't the dew on the grass making it stall, I switched back to my old electric and it ran good, just had a weak battery as it's old. I called Lowe's to do a return and they stated once any gas equipment has fuel in it, it can not be returned. I informed them I would run it until there was no longer any fuel it into ensure it was empty. They once again stated once it has had fuel in it that it could not be returned. They don't want to risk having fuel in the store even though they sell fuel in the store.
I contacted Lowe's 1800 as they requested and did not do anything to resolve my problem

Update: The original order wasn't canceled, even though I was assured it was! As a result, TWO refrigerators are on their way to my mother's house this morning! Next time I need an appliance, I'll be going to a competitor.
The female employee working in appliances this week, 6/17-21, totally screwed up my mother's order for a refrigerator. She had my mother give her MY phone number and email for some unknown reason, which caused the delivery to be sent to me in another town. I managed to get it stopped before it was delivered. Now a new order had to be placed with her information and it will be next week before it's delivered. I tried to get the name of the employee but it wasn't on the receipt like it should have been.

It's not too bad of a store. It has a few issues like most large stores but the biggest thing that bothers me the most is I bough a brand new fridge from them and when we got it home and removed all the plastic and cardboard a bunch of cockroaches ran out and are now roaming my house and now I have to bug bomb my entire house because of roaches in the fridge from enid lowes. I haven't called them about it yet. Will update review after the conversation with them

Service is friendly and helpful IF you manage to get any. Every time I call, I'm on hold for at least 20 minutes every time. I had a time sensitive project that had to be delayed by a week at the cost of hundreds of dollars to me because I couldn't get ahold of anyone. Call customer service, they put me on hold for 20 minutes. They finally answer, send me to the right department, it rings for five minutes, hangs up because no one answers. Rinse and repeat until it's been three hours and the person I need to talk to is gone for the day. Absolutely infuriating.
