“My trim and drywall guy (with DECADES of experience) sent me here for some difficult to match stain. They had custom mixed a shade, but when the wood soaked it up, the type of wood made it way too light. I took the stain back to see if they could adjust it. In a matter of minutes, they had the stain darkened. I had it back to the trim installer in no time so the job could get completed. I'm happy to know about this store because I had already purchased at least 4 samples of pre-mixed stain from a big box store, and none of them were even close. The personnel were extremely responsive and knowledgeable. I now have Sherwin Williams logged in my head as a "pro tip" for difficult matching challenges.”

“First, I NEVER write reviews. But my experience at Spectrum midtown deserves one. I’ve used this location several times, for several different projects/whole exterior and interior home repaint etc and have always had a good experience. However, the customer service I received from Vanessa last week was extraordinary! She went above and beyond trying to help me tint a Romabio Venetian glaze that you can’t even get in Oklahoma. There were multiple aspects that proved to be challenging, and she was up for challenge. She took great care color matching, had to mix by hand due to the container size, and nailed it! She collaborated with me and valued my opinion, which is a rarity these days with customer service. I truly hope you know how valuable she is for Spectrum!”
“They are very helpful and accommodating! I was sitting out waiting for my toddler to take a car nap, so I called to ask if they could go ahead and start mixing my paint. They called me back a few min and offered to let me pay over the phone and even brought the paint out to my truck! And my little one never had to wake up.”
