Had to take my 4 year old son here because of severe vomiting. We went middle of the day and there was hardly anyone else there. They got us back in a bed pretty quickly and got my son hooked up to fluids. They were very thorough, they did ultrasounds and X-rays. The radiologist even came down to talk to us after looking at the images and he was awesome about explaining what he saw. We were out in maybe 3-4 hours. We also had to come a few years ago when he got Covid really bad and they were great then too.

So I had to go to this hospital in pain at 1:00 am this morning. So they gave me a CT scan and pain meds and was told that I had to go get an ultrasound at the south hospital. So went there at 2:30 am this morning. So they did the scan and they only had one dr in the whole building so I ask them if I could call later and get my results and I was told yes. I told them that I had to go to work so I would call when I get off. So I call them again today because I’m in pain again and ask if a dr could give me my results that way I could get some help with the pain I was told I had to come back into the emergency room again and then a dr can give me my results. I told them I can’t afford to come and make another ER bill for my results and they told me there was nothing they could do for me. Now I paid for my visit this morning and their doctor is in the building but I can’t get any help with this pain. This is crazy!!! It’s not my fault that your emergency room didn’t have the equipment that was needed to help me so you sent me to a different one. I went and I still can’t get anyone to help me unless I go back and make another ER bill!!!!! I don’t like this at all all!!!!

Went Friday evening for a suspected spider bite on my daughter’s face, informed the woman at the desk that we are not from the area, and was just staying a few days at my parents’, and wasn’t able to get her in to her regular doctor that day, she then very passive aggressively said, “well this is an ER, it isn’t urgent care..this is a hospital”, which I was obviously already aware of, and was confused as to why she was saying that. I have been to so many different ERs, for so many different things, and I’ve never had a receptionist say anything like that, or treat me that way when checking into a hospital. I just told her never mind, and left.

I visited the hospital with my wife and met with a staff member named M ( first letter). Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing, and we’ve decided not to return.
We requested access to our medical records, and M presented a legal document for us to sign. When we asked her to explain the contents, her explanation didn’t match what was written in the document. When I pointed this out, she threatened to call security. I smiled and asked, “You’re calling security because we’re asking questions?” She then left the office and mentioned that I will bring my manager, and returned about 20 minutes later—not with the manager, but with a contact number. She told us that if we didn’t want to sign the document, we should call that number to request our records.
We appreciated the information and left the hospital calmly. The whole interaction felt unnecessarily hostile and unprofessional.

My wife missed 2 appointments because her mother had open heart surgery and then she needed to go to rehab. She put her elderly mothers needs before herself and now they will no longer see her . I wish doctor Brenda Hensley had just a little more compassion and understanding and could look at the whole picture before making decisions.

After spending 7 hours in the waiting room at the st Frances on 61 and Yale in a disgusting waiting room and rude employees, I decided to leave and go to this location and was treated with so much kindness and quick help. I cannot recommend this location enough. Dr. Burger and his nurses were so wonderful. Very thankful.

Not a real emergency center. Do not go here unless you just need stitches. They need to take down their emergency sign!

I was in there about 2 weeks ago. I was in so much pain in my back i couldn't stand it. I had already taken my sleeping medicine about an hour before I arrived at the er.(midnight) I was checked in and my vitals were taken and then I set in the waiting room. Nobody was in the waiting room but me and my son. I was falling asleep, but every time I moved it made me cry out. I couldn't help it. The front desk lady and the security guard was giving me dirty looks. I waited for hours! My name was never called! The only questions I was asked was what meds i was on and what kind of pain I was having. I felt like they treated me like an addict!! I ended up leaving without being seen. I went somewhere else and I got an MRI and I have a herniated disk, a pinched nerve, severe arthritis, and a cyst on my spine!! Thanks so much for not caring for your patient!!

Wonderful, compassionate, quick care! Staff truly listened and cared about the issues and took time to ensure all concerns were addressed before discharge! Daniel, Reese RN, I’m forgetting the awesome EMT who placed my IV’s name, and Dr. Kerbow thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I went to the ER for a very severe ear infection. Absolutely everybody there was amazing!… not only the nurses and doctors, but also the front desk. I am so very grateful to have an ER so close to my house that is excellent. The wait time was minimal. I cannot believe I got in and out so fast with excellent care. I was referred to an ear nose and throat specialist. That experience was also amazing. Again I am so very grateful and thank you so much to everybody that works there!😊

I cannot, in good faith, recommend St. Francis Glenpool. We took our child to the ER a few months ago, in fear that she broke her arm. We were in and out within an hour, and everyone (from registration to discharge) was polite and helpful. However, I was FLOORED when I realized they billed $5,600 to our insurance, in addition to $1,600 billed by the physician group!!! The services rendered could have been provided at an urgent care, as all they did was X-rays, a splint, and recommend a follow up visit with an orthopedic clinic. Our portion of the bill is substantial — nearly $3k.
I would not return to this facility, unless it were a critical situation and there were no other viable options.
