My husband took my son here today and the lady Absolutely butchered his hair. Will have to take him elsewhere to fix it, very disappointed.

Let me preface: The hair cut isn’t terrible. I’m not sure if maybe today was a bad day for Polly or if this is what to expect but this was my first time at A Grand Salon and let me tell you, customer service skills are severely lacking. I walked in, was barely greeted, stood there for a few minutes before I was told where I could sit as there wasn’t any chairs other than the salon chairs. When I was pulled into the chair, the conversation started good but then kinda became a little uncomfortable for me as I didn’t feel like I was being listened too regarding what I wanted or just felt immediately shut down. I will say, the hair cut was fast. It took 10 minutes! While cutting my hair, my hair stylist received two phone calls, they seemed serious so I won’t fault her for the phone calls. My issue is her actions after the first phone and during the second phone call. Before the first phone call, I was in the middle of explaining to her how I wanted my bangs, then the phone call happened, she walked away, came back and then picked my hair and started cutting without finishing any sort of conversation. Before anything was said, her other client came back in and conversation between them resumed until the second phone call came in. She placed it on speaker and LITERALLY yelled in my ear the entire conversation with the other person while she started on my bangs without a word to me or how I wanted them – we never finished our conversation from earlier, as previously mentioned. At the end, it just felt pointless to even say anything because honestly I was ready to just leave. I didn’t want to be there anymore. It was $16 and ten minutes of me literally feeling ignored and not prioritized or listened too. If it was a bad day, then maybe rescheduling would have been the best decision but here we are. As mentioned, the hair cut isn’t terrible, the customer service skills is what makes me not want to go back.
