Will not cash business checks. Worthless!!!! This place needs an aduit. I've never had a smooth transition with any branch. Your shutdown is coming, too.

Updated; everything I posted before with the 5 star review here still holds true but I was charged $66 over the course of a couple of months due to fees because I didn’t set up an account on my own time and the lady that took my call stated “all 3 of us girls defiantly told you that cause we tell it to everyone” that if I didn’t set up an online account I’ll be charged $3 and I know I wasn’t told that or I would have walked out the door cause that’s ridiculous. I guess I’ll find another bank and in the future record all in person conversions.Old review: Although I have no reason to do otherwise, I give BancFirst 5 stars nonetheless. The staff members were much friendlier and more knowledgeable when it came to responding to my questions. Both Interbank and BancFirst require a deposit of $100 to start an account, however BancFirst specifies that the money is just required for account verification and is yours to keep. BancFirst has a free option to transfer money that typically takes 48 hours, and they were much friendlier when they learned I was only opening an account to transfer money and cash out a check, whereas Interbank seemed annoyed I would not have any direct deposit money going into it. They also charge $15 to do net transfers, whereas Interbank charges $20.

I have been banking here since almost 20 years and their customer service & their fraud services have been the best I've encountered in my banking experience! Their fraud service has caught many unauthorized purchases and immediately contacted me. I love knowing where I bank has my back when thieves steal my card number or quickly shut my card down when I've lost them issuing me a new card in a very timely manner. I will never bank anywhere else!

Dannelle Barker! Wise. Smartest person that I've come across in the financial industry. Dannelle Barker has wisdom beyond her years. Every time I have a concern, she councils in the ways that are beneficial. If you're looking for a bank, BancFirst is it. But if you're in need of one that knows banking, Dannelle Barker is it! Wise council is in short supply in today's business environment; Barker has what fits the bill.

BancFirst Executives, please give special recognition to Kimberly Canning, an employee of yours in the Guthrie, OK Loan Department for her integrity. In her off hours last night, she found my phone in a shopping cart OUTSIDE and went to all lengths to find me even tho it was just about to run down. I will be meeting her at work this morning to pick it up. It is this kind of honesty, integrity and dependability that has kept me and many of my family as a customer of yours for many years.When we moved to Guthrie in 1975, we randomly chose your bank to open our first account in Guthrie and we have never been sorry. Again, thank you, Kimberly!!!
