We love the Lazy-E! Have attended many times and most recently (3rd time) for the Cinch Timed Events. Great location, wonderful arena and surrounding areas. Will return as often as possible.

I love the Iron man event - but the system for parking your RV in antiquated. you have to check in where the contestants check in and then drive across the street to a pasture that is not level. some areas are level, but I am assuming the staff does not care and just places you as far away from the front as possible. Team Lazy E - learn about customer service. Know you layout and place people in better spots. I will be coming back to this review and rewriting this if by the time the event starts all the other spaces are full. we were here last year, and spots were not full. I do not want you to think staff is not polite, they very much are. just the system in lacking.

The arena is cool, but the owners just did two small, family businesses dirty. They (Lazy E) recently bought a building not far from the the interstate so they can use it for horse breeding. The building currently has two long-term (10+ years), family-owned businesses as tenants, and they were just informed that they have until April 14th to vacate. Lazy E will not let them stay because they have high dollar customers in the breeding business and do not want any tenants in the building at all. They must not want their high-dollar customers that are willing to spend $50K to buy horse semen to be sullied by having interaction with the locals. I understand that buildings change hands, and new owners might have different plans for it, but they could at least give these businesses 6 months to find a new place. These businesses are providing a living for not just the owners, but the employees.

Went to the International Finals Rodeo here as we have the last two years. We decided to splurge this year and paid top dollar for the most expensive tickets they offered which we assumed would be great seats. What a joke. We bought two tickets from the Lazy E website for a total of $330 thinking this would give us box seats. WRONG! The site will not let you pick your seats, you just select what price you will pay and it assigns you tickets. The on line seating cart is vague and not useful at all. Turns out we paid that astronomical price for terrible seats - Section Q, Row C, seats 11 and 12. We were packed in like sardines in the bleachers. We were so disappointed. After the opening event, we moved to the other side of the arena to some of the many empty seats with even better views and were a lot more comfortable. We always enjoy the rodeo but, if we go next year, we will pick the lowest possible priced seats for a 10th of the price. What a rip off. The rodeo itself was great as always. We enjoy shopping the vendors stalls there too. Food and drinks are really expensive of course. Walking tacos were 9$ each and well drinks were 9$ each too. It was freezing the night we went but staff in carts drove us to the entrance so we didn’t have to walk the whole way. Loooong lines at the concession stands indicate that they need more food booths but there is no room for them. Great rodeo though!

Sadly this place has gone downhill. Attending tonight and have missed many of the first events just waiting in line to get a bottle of water. Only two places open. Nothing on the opposite side open and only vending machine I found doesn’t work. Women’s bathroom doors won’t lock (at least the two that I tried). Ed is probably rolling over in his grave at the way this place has deteriorated since he opened it.
