I had an unfortunate and upsetting experience at this Dollar General location. When my card was declined due to insufficient funds, the cashier began loudly yelling and acting rude and disrespectful about it being insufficient funds even calling me out for trying to use my same card a second time (literally over $200 was stolen out of my account and I had to find out like that and be treated rudely)— all in front of my children. My youngest child is crying over the incident as im trying to get them to put the bags back while this man’s being rude. It was incredibly embarrassing and completely unnecessary. Mistakes like this happen, and there’s absolutely no excuse for humiliating a customer, especially in front of their kids. The situation could have been handled quietly and professionally, but instead I was made to feel ashamed. Management needs to seriously address how their staff speak to customers — this kind of behavior is unacceptable.

I'm sure all the 5 star reviews for this particular Dollar General are by the local Haskell folks who don't have a clue how a business like this should be operated.My wife and I stopped by today and we were amazed by the unprofessionalism of the employees and the condition of this store.It was filthy, isles had items strewn everywhere including all over the floor, and the one public restroom was so nasty, it should have been closed for use.Corporate should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this branch to fall into such awful conditions.
