Went on Sunday @ 12pm and was full and before left was waiting list. Food was excellent. Wife had chicken strips, daughter had chicken fried steak, sister had patty melt, and me; club with salad bar. Salad bar was excellent stocked. Waitress Maddy was AWESOME and friendly…Kid-friendliness: 4 kids from 12-6 had own table and were taken care of as well as us adults.

Five stars isn't enough for this place. Great food, great service, and come on you're eating in an old train car so the atmosphere is off the charts cool. This is the perfect Oklahoma road trip hidden gem. The best homemade cheesecake I've ever had.

We met a local resident at Lake Wister State Park and she recommended this restaurant. Thanks Becky for telling us about Southern Belle! We loved eating here. I got the catfish fingers and my husband got the Southern Belle fried chicken. Both plates come with 2 sides and hush puppies and roll. Our food was delicious! The salad bar was used as one of our sides it was delicious too! Fresh produce, wonderful dressings, pasta salads, etc. Great service and food in a very charming rail car.

Absolutely wonderful; been about 10 years since I went prior, and even better than I remember. Belle is a refurbished train car, with a nice interior and wonderful food. Definitely recommend!Parking: Open lot in front, but can fill quickly during busier hours. Not terribly difficult to get a spot though.

The salad bar was amazing and delicious. However my chicken fried chicken was terrible. I was full of grease and soggy. A lot of money for something I wasn't about to eat.

Server She didn't say her name. Kari is her name. Ambiance Its a diner rail car from the 50's Food So, I had the hamburger steak plate with carrot cake. It was pretty good. The carrots cake was absolutely WRONG. It should be illegal to make it taste so good. Lol She had the stuffed potato. It was very good. Overall This place does most things pretty good. The exception.. that dang carrot cake. It's too good. Military

Wow! I mean wow! I got the "Chicken and Shrimp"... And that was the best fried chicken I have ever had. That is no lie! (And trust me I have had a lot of fried chicken in my life ?) The shrimp was amazing too! And the whole "Eating in a Train" experience was awesome! Was a little pricey, but trust me, it is definitely worth it!

What a cute place! Best chicken tenders I've had in ages. Service fantastic. Locals seem to frequent... Always a good sign.

We took the scenic route back home from Fayetteville, AR and ran across this gem of a cafe in Heavener, OK. Its unique look and crowded parking lot convinced us to turn around and give it a try. Who wouldn’t want to eat in a dining rail car from another era??Friendly folks were quick to welcome us aboard and settle us in for lunch as though we were family. I chose a steaming roast beef plate and with a delicious brown gravy and smashed taters to follow a trip to a well stocked salad bar. The selections of southern style comfort foods were many and every plate being served around us looked very appetizing. This is one of those small town diners that are getting hard to find as corporate chains dominate the landscape. We’re happy we took the long way home and found the Southern Belle Restaurant beside the tracks in Heavener! My only regret is that I passed on the homemade pie. What a treat that would have been to enjoy at one of the scenic overlooks up the road. … There’s comfort in knowing I can correct that omission when we come this way again.
