Make this a destination. The gallery is massive. One side has the jewelry and the other side houses the paintings and metal work (along with some other gift shop items). That side has a water feature and looks like it might have been a Mexican restaurant back in the day. Great family business with Cha' and his wife working there the day we stopped. I took my mom on a trip to Pawhuska for a day trip and we came back through Hominy to this gallery. Honestly, the Hominy stop made the entire trip. She found a ring she had to have and got a photo with the artist. He was so attentive to her and answered a lot of her questions. I would definitely be back. Seriously, make a trip here. The scenery is great and you can also go view his metal work on the hill overlooking the town.

An excellent place to shop for native american jewelry, art, and books. Save yourself a drive to Taos and Santa Fe.

First I'd like to say we love this Art Gallery/Store but It wasn't the best visit compared to before, not sure if the $400 we spent wasn't enough cause Cha wasn't very friendly wasn't talkative, not sure if he was sick or his wife and him were arguing or something else was going on but not only did I feel the tense atmosphere there but my wife also felt it, we drove from Ohio to see family in tulsa and made it a point to come here, we came in one morning and came back the next morning hoping the atmosphere would be different but it wasn't, needless to say it put a bad vibe in us with it all and my wife says well we won't be back here when we drive in next year

This is outstanding. Take some time to hang out. Maybe walk through the whole store three times. Take a photo with Chief if you find him. As a group of three, we spent over $300. You might want to make a wish list. Restrooms available in the back. We had a great time. Cha can tell great stories and they didn't cost anything.
