I went for a day trip with some friends, the nature center was underwhelming from what I remember as a kid. However, the fitness trail was so. much. fun!! There were plaques along the trail with funny exercises and stretches to do, I high recommend this trail!
Sequoyah State Park is a haven for water lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. With miles of shoreline on Fort Gibson Lake, the park attracts boaters and beach-goers alike. Outdoor lovers will enjoy hiking, picnicking, guided horseback trail rides, wildlife watching, nature center activities, golf, disc-golf, fishing and camping.
In addition to the lodge and cottages, the park features a full spectrum of overnight accommodations, including group camps, RV and primitive camp sites.
On the water, the full-service Paradise Cove Marina features boat rentals, boat sales, loading dock, gas dock, slip rental, paddle boats, personal watercraft, storage, bait and tackle supplies.
