They remove my review every time I check it is gone. I have been reposting for years. Please do not send your child here. I was abused here years ago and the health conditions are hardly livable for any human regardless of what they have said they were doing to fix it. Disgusting place that does not instill anything but more PTSD and a lot more problems down the road trying to get rid of memories I had here.

Brush Creek offers teens hope! They have a beautiful campus and their equine therapy and missions trips help boys heal from life controlling issues

I have been most impressed by the program and staff at Brush Creek. It is evident that they have a heart for the kids and a passion for what they are doing. When situations or problems have arrived during our son's stay, as they inevitably will over the course of a year's time, they have been handled quickly with integrity and respect. Our son has grown so much since entering the program and is showing more and more signs of improvement as he goes along. Do the kids complain? Sure! But let's be honest...if they were in a healthy frame of mind, they wouldn't even be there. Of course they will have complaints and struggles and want to leave and negative attitudes but that's precisely why they need to be there! It's ok to go through hard things because that's where the growth happens. We believe in the vision of the program and competence of the staff. I would personally challenge you to consider Brush Creek if you have a wayward son who needs a firm foundation. We are so thankful that we did! Our son is becoming the best version of himself that he has ever been and is working towards his future, when before he would only live in the minute. Best of all, he is finally learning how to love Jesus and getting into the Word of God.

We are very satisfied with Brush Creek. Although it may not be perfect (who is?) We do love the friendly staff and the change we have seen many boys experiencing including our own. It has been 6 months for us and it is night and day when out boy comes home to visit. Good guys. keep up the good work.

Completely understaffed, they will back stab their own staff. They had students doing grown staff homework for their college classes. They will make deals that they can’t keep. They will hold students past completing the program because “ lost paperwork” more than 3 times. They eat the same thing basically every day. They will force staff to work and not pay them at all. Report has been made about that. If your kid has issues with anxiety or anything along those lines look else where. They will shun students because “ it’s part of the program”. When you first enter you can’t talk to anyone for 1 level. They will get on to staff for stuff that happens after hours and yet when students do it. Nothing. They claim to be Christian yet talk in languages which you will never understand. Wake up the Bible talks about tongues as being able to speak to others. Not the devil. I would personally not ever sent my 2 kids there. My best advice do your research on them before you make the choice.Pro: nothingCons: you won’t get anything but cons from them.
