Me and my wife booked an online appointment at the HR block in Jenks for Saturday February 2nd. We arrived 10 minutes early to our appointment and we were greeted very nicely. We were informed the person we scheduled with wasn't available so they had us use someone else. It started off ok but the person didn't know what mortgage interest was Red flag right away. So they asked someone to take a look at it. We continued on with the appointment and got it wrapped up. We informed them that we would be sending our daughters in to have their taxes done as well. During my daughter's appointment the person doing the taxes informed us they had a made a big mistake on our taxes. Wow that's why we came to a professional to have them done correctly. We were informed this information days after we sent in our taxes to the IRS so we missed some benefits that could helped us. It's awful to pay that fee to get your taxes done by a professional and they admit they messed up so now I'm just out extra money we could have used. We won't be using HR Block again so sad because last year it went great.

Don’t pay the extra for their guarantee. They made a mistake on my 2021 taxes and won’t pay the interest. They want your money immediately but won’t turn loose of theirs.

Unfortunately I've had better experiences at other HR Blocks with more complicated stuff. Seems like I was charged for every little thing. Would love to have felt more appreciated
