Moved to town thought it would be a good idea to get a local bank open with this branch. thousands deposited -cash deposits also - they lied and told me the cash I deposited would be immediately available. I missed work yesterday because of these people and their untrustworthiness. I had no access to any of the money whatsoever and when I called them to tell them I didn't- I was gaslit and told it was there-clearly I could see it wasn't. Fast forward stuck at a gas station no way of getting to work because of this bank branch. I only open my account yesterday but I'm coming to close it today because these people are Not truthful at all. Once I got stuck at the gas station unable to get gas everyone in town is telling me they've had similar experiences and go to the OTHER local bank but nobody warned me about this branch BEFORE. :(

The reviews speak for themselves.I currently bank here, but I will be getting an account elsewhere as soon as possible. I do not recommend BancFirst. There are tons of better options in the area.

Moved here from Van Alstyne, TX a few months ago. Wanted a convenient local bank to use to pay household bills. Really love using the Bank of America phone app so researched to find a Bank with a highly rated app and BancFirst fit the bill. Too bad I didn't do more research. We opened the account on February 16th 2022. Everyone was kind and friendly. I was really looking forward to having a local bank.On March 1st my boyfriend deposited 3 checks for a total of about $1800. On March 4th I deposited one check for $1000 and a check for $500 both drawn from my Bank of America account. On the afternoon of March 4th I received a text from BofA telling me that both checks had cleared my BofA account. So at this point, we have deposited about $3300 in the account since March 1st. We checked the account Monday, March 7th (remember, we have deposited $3300) and NONE of the checks deposited were available. Even the checks that I knew had cleared.I called the bank and asked what was going on and was told that they we allowed, by law, to sit on every check we deposited for 11 business days (at least 2 weeks) and that is exactly what they were going to do. I couldn't believe it and asked her over and over to clarify; I couldn't believe that they would keep cleared funds out of my account for two weeks just because they could. She then started talking over me and refusing to clarify or listen.I then spoke to the manager to confirm that they indeed intended on sitting on every check we deposited for at least 2 weeks. **We have NEVER been informed of this** When we made our deposits we were told they might not be available for a few days. OK. We figured we could live with them waiting until the check cleared, but THIS? If we have been informed of this patently unfair practice we would have certainly taken our business elsewhere.Today, I received in the mail the letter pictured as well as an identical letter for the $1000 check. Gee thanks. When we told the manager we were closing our account and going elsewhere, we were informed that we needed to wait until they decided to release our funds. We are very fortunate that the funds being held for ransom are not funds that we must have to live. Thank heaven we kept our other bank accounts open or we would have been in dire straights.Beware of BancFirst Kingston. Beware.

I love this bank! Oklahoma owned! Having access at any branch is very nice..and having 2 locations near where I live on Lake Texoma is extremely nice!I need to add that this bank watches our usage of our cards very well. Okay so it is annoying that you can't use your card for a moment. But if you stop and realize that they're THAT QUICK with shutting your card down to PREVENT FRAUD well the hassel is SO WORTH THE PROTECTION in our book.

They kept declining my card even though I had plenty of money in my account at their bank. They claimed it was because of suspected fraud. Calling them 8 times in a day, using the card in the same town, it just got to be too much. I finally switched banks.
