I came from out of town , to celebrate my sister birthday while she’s in tech school for the military. They didn’t have number balloons but assured me that if I got them elsewhere they would be glad to fill them up with helium if I brought them back for $1.50 each. After getting the balloons elsewhere, I came back and asked for them to be blown up. I already thought that 1.50 was unrealistic because the balloons they sell are 1.50 with helium included, but just went with the flow. Our cashiers register crashed while he was ringing us up and called the “manager “ or another coworker over. She was a relatively small Caucasian woman who seemed to be in her early 30s. She immediately gave me attitude as if id done something wrong to her. She told me that she couldn’t blow my balloon up because it wasn’t helium safe . I explained to her that the packaging that it came in stated that it was. She was very upset to be wrong especially since our original cashier agreed with me. My balloons (2) were slightly larger than the ones they sell, so she stated that she would have to charge me $5 each , Which clearly makes no sense. I would understand $2 and maybe even $3 each, but $5 for JUST AIR is ridiculous. Igor home and checked my receipt to find out she actually charged me $6 each. I’m sure she was racist and assuming she acted in such an unprofessional and rude manner due to the fact that I am black. Spending $12 at a dollar tree for helium in two number balloons is actually INSANE! The money isn’t the problem, I would have no issue paying $12 for helium if that was the cost, I just strongly feel that she took advantage of me and I will not be returning!

We visit this location frequently for snack trips with out daughters. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Checkout does take a while since it's almost always busy. Food items are stocked but difficult to find other seasonal items or kitchen ware at times.

These stores always have lots of inexpensive Staples for the house, ornamentals, party supplies, storage containers, kitchenwares, toys, neat doodads. I always get more than I came for because I can't help it. The prices are nearly unbeatable. Quality sometimes not so much.

The isles are a bit messy from customers and the isles are sometimes blocked by employees leave bulk products on their floats and disappear for long amounts of time. The checkout lines are not usually long. The cashier has left us to go break larger bills for another cashier before giving us our ticket, we grabbed it ourselves and left. Staff is sometimes friendly. I don't believe anything is a dollar anymore, I feel they should change the name of the store now.
