Horrible group of people. The moment you leave, the fake charges start racking up. They are pathetic at best. Car tires were slashed, dog poop everywhere, noisy apartment, thin walls. Please please look elsewhere

It's a nice place to live, the trash service is a nice amenity and we love the pool in the summer.

Honestly I've had a pretty good experience living here, probably 3-4 stars, but the front office just sent out an email saying they'll raffle off rodeo tickets to anyone who leaves a 5-star review this week so I'm trying to keep the average rating honest. Cheers.

I’m on a family trip with my two-year old son, visiting his grandparents. We tried to go to the park at the complex, and it is so run down and dilapidated, you can tell that the property management doesn’t care, there’s even a live wasp nest underneath the platforms, and webs string all over the equipment. I walked out onto the balcony yesterday morning to find a bird, choking on its last breath, to which my family members informed me that the complex puts poison out to kill not just the birds, but other animals in the area as well. Not safe for family, not safe for your pets, I would advise people to leave this place and never look back. The lack of care is absolutely unacceptable, and I will be reaching out to the corporate offices, because clearly the people who run the complex are incompetent.

I am a current resident at Legend Park Apartments in Lawton, Oklahoma. When I first moved in Legends apartments assigned me the wrong account for my apartment. When rent was due it showed a 0 balance and having just moved in I was unaware of the process and did not think anything was wrong. On July 15th I was informed I had a late fee because I had not paid rent that I had no access to. I have video proof of the 0 balance that I showed the head office management Angie. And I was told it would be taken care of and the $150 charge would be removed since we had no access to pay it to begin with. It is now August 29th and I have been informed by Jessica Beck that the management lady Angie had been overruled and that it is my fault for not reaching out even though I had no reason to suspect anything was wrong. I was told by upper management this decision was made on August 5th. No one reached out to me until I was sent another notice to pay the late fee on August 29th. Very unprofessional of a business to not inform its residence of a decision for over 3 weeks. Legends also offers benefits to those who will leave a 5 star review. They promoted a raffle for the local rodeo where only residence who left a 5 star review would be entered in for a chance to win. Which is very shady and sad that they are not willing to have their residence leave honest reviews because they know they have problems, but want to boost their ratings online with shady raffles instead of fix their current problems to help rectify issues the correct way. For anyone looking at a place to live I would highly recommend looking elsewhere, where they will be better taken care of and have a higher quality of living.
I hope to hear back on these issues as it seems very unprofessional on how management operates based on my interactions.

I recently moved into Legend Park Apartments, and overall, it has been a very positive experience. The apartments are well-designed and offer spacious layouts with modern finishes. I appreciate the natural light that fills the rooms, making it feel comfortable and inviting.
The management team here is friendly and responsive. They’ve been helpful with any questions I’ve had, and it’s clear they care about the residents. I’ve found the leasing process to be straightforward and hassle-free, which is always a plus.
The maintenance staff deserves a mention as well. They are quick to respond to requests and have been professional and courteous during each visit. It’s reassuring to know that any maintenance issues will be resolved promptly.
One of the highlights of Legend Park is the pool area. The pools are clean and well-maintained, providing a nice place to relax and unwind.

BLUF: DO NOT LIVE HERE
I called 2 months prior to indicate my interest in the apts. Ashley told me that a 1 bedroom would be $1k. I said I'd definitely be renting here and we set up a time for when I got here. I called to confirm 1 week prior.
I arrive, ready to sign, and Ashley had no idea who I was. She said she had never spoken to me before and got quite nasty when I recounted our conversations.
She proceeded to tell me that there were no apts ready. She told me that I would have to wait 2 weeks until one opened. I lived in a hotel while looking for a different apt, with no luck.
When I finally was able to see an apt, it was very clean/had no issues. I told them I would take it and I'd like to start my lease that week so I could get out of the hotel. Ashley told me that it needed to be "cleaned and painted" and that they were backed up and that I would have to wait ANOTHER 2 WEEKS before I could move in, but that if I didn't sign the lease that day, then the apt would be taken. Oh, and the rent was now no longer $1,000, but instead increased to $1,300. With no other options, I signed the lease. For the next 2 weeks, whenever I would check in, whoever answered the phone would just be AWFUL to me. The most glaring offenders were definitely Ashley and Michaela, who just had the worst attitude for no reason at all.
Now, IMAGINE MY SUPRISE that when I finally move in, the move-in packet comes with a huge list of things I must do before I move out, or I will be charged. Among these include getting the carpets professionally cleaned and deep cleaning every square inch of the house. For example, if a lightbulb goes out, it's $3 per bulb. Or I'd get charged if there were cobwebs or dust. Just nonsense that is more about the principle than the cost. My question is, if they make the tenants clean the apartments, then what kind of cleaning were they doing that took 2 WEEKS to finish?
It doesn't get better. For the next year, I was harassed with email after email about all their rules. Any deviation from their ever changing trash protocol? $75 fine. Your rent is overdue by one day because somehow the auto pay has turned off even though it worked last month? $150 fine. We're charged a premium rate for "luxury" apartments, but the gate is broken almost 90% of the time, and so are the pools. About 9 months in, management changed, and the rules got even more strict. They now required a wrist band to swim in the pool, that we PAY FOR! They completely changed the trash schedule, and had no mercy on those that didn't get it right the first time. Oh and now the leasing office closes one hour earlier than before!
Even worse, my apartment was entered with less than 24 hours notice nearly every single month for "pest control" or "checking the air filters" or whatever they came up with. Oh and you better have your pets put away when they come in, even though you don't know when that will be!
They decided to replace all the roofs, and so for about 2 weeks, relentless banging on my ceiling could be heard reverberating throughout my apartment in the early morning hours. The office did us the courtesy of sending out an email saying that if any of the roofing tiles damaged our cars, they were not responsible. How nice of them!
This week, they replaced all the plumbing to "save water", starting on the 6th until the 18th and they'd notify us 1 day ahead of time, but I came home today with a paper taped to my door dated YESTERDAY saying that they would be coming in today. It was DEFINITELY not there this morning, and when I went in, my poor cat was scared out of her mind. The water pressure is at about half the strength it was prior to this "upgrade", which I'm sure they will find a way to charge for.
I bought a house instead of renewing my lease bec

The office staff is very informative and quick to respond. Truly good professionalism. However, you are going to pay a premium every step of the way. I don't think the pricing is competitive considering cost of living in the surrounding area.

Everything was great with the complex except for the staff in the office, especially the manager, Jessica. The front desk ladies are unprofessional and do not understand their jobs. Before I left my apartment, I made sure it was cleaner than their faces, However, they ended up charging me $100 for nothing after I received the deposit check. I apologize to the owner of the complex, and I am unsure of how he could have hired those individuals. they are liars, and unprofessional. Guys don’t trust them.

I live on the first floor and theres a family with kids in the unit right above me. I understand you cant prevent kids from running around and stomping, but the walls and floors are like hollow and you can hear everything the other unit is doing.
The gate doesnt work more than half the time and the gate keypad is shifted off to the right and its a tight fit for trucks and the front office said “we dont have to issue one to you, you have the keypad”
The “amenities” at this complex is a joke, everything is run down or under “repairs” all the time.
New management raised rent like $300. This is THE MOST EXPENSIVE apartment complex for no reason. It looks nice but thats all they offer.
