My experience here was ok. I came there to refinance a vehicle. The process of it was definitely not that straight forward. I couldn’t understand why they had to pull your credit twice for an application. You have to pull once if you are by yourself and if you have a cosigner you have to pull it again. If you want to switch who is first they have to pull it again. Makes no sense to me. On top of that we had to make multiple savings account? The lady helping us was nice. The bank is clean but I personally would not bank here just because the auto loan process was not simple.

I didn't catch her name because I was in such a a hurry but she worked today between 12-1 very beautiful young lady. I was on lunch in a rush kept changing my mind with what I wanted and how I wanted it she was very helpful and she did everything she was asked of a difficult customer (myself) lol ? Thank you for being so kind and making my stressful demands pleasant and making me giggle ?

Today, October 10, 2023 at 11:15 AM, Navy Federal Credit Union, I was highly disappointed with the privacy of information at this financial institution. I went inside to replace a debit card and deposit some funds. The lady asked me for proof of ID which was an Oklahoma state driver license real ID. Then the lady asked me for my date of birth and my current residence address. I pointed to my ID card which she was holding that she verified with a flashlight that had all the information she was requesting. She said, I still need you to give me this information verbally. I was shaking my head like really in front of all of these customers standing behind me. Talking about operation, security, and privacy is at a low at Navy Federal Credit Union in Lawton, Oklahoma.

A good bank overall, always clean inside HOWEVER they do not staff it well. Usually only 1-2 Tellers work during the busiest times instead of 4 (which they have desks for). So be aware of when your going in. If you go during lunch or on a Monday you already have lost the fight (I.e be prepared to stand there for hours)Other than that, super friendly place

Horrible unprofessional experience by a member services woman that did not know what she was talking about. Ignored proof, then began acting overly dramatic in attempt to avoid admitting she was wrong. Should not expect anything less from some clown that still wears a mask.

These people made dual accounts for me once and had my direct deposit going to an account that wasn’t mine, they are also rude on the phone. So not only are they inadequate at creating and handling bank accounts, their ineptitude also extends to their customer service as well

Staff here are extremely friendly and helpful. Rylee waited on us today, and she was so kind and patient. She explained everything she was doing and showed excellent customer service. Good customer service goes a long way!

This is not towards the Lawton Location this is in reference to the bank in general. The staff at the Lawton location are AMAZING...but I recently experienced an issue where I was informed that I could not view any of my transactions due to having to many recent transactions on my account. Then all of a sudden I started having missing amounts of money that are not viewable on my account and when I call minutes after I have just checked my account I am missing hundreds of dollars from my account like $600 but no one can tell me why but just wait after the maintenance overnight finishes processing

We have been with NFCU for over 26 years. Though we have accounts at other banks, none have topped NFCU. They are always so friendly when you go into a branch or call on the phone. They take care of your needs immediately or direct you where to go to handle it. They have very good rates for loans and credit cards - though we don't carry a balance on ours. They offer us a pretty decent percentage back on our card as well. I would highly recommend opening an account and giving them a try. You won't be disappointed!

I like how they take care of protecting your account from unauthorized payments and how quickly they handle them and the ease of depositing money and taking out money at the branch and the customer service it’s just the long 3 day wait of getting my Money deposited to my account and waiting so long on the phone because everyone wants to call about the stimulus payment they can just be patient and wait for when it’s other people have other more important issues like being billed 3 times from Walmart.com and being told your payments would be back in your account in 24 hours up to 48 hours amd you still don’t see where it’s been taken off so u can pay your bill that’s in the process of being late and accruing a $30 late fee if I don’t get this money back on my card In time. I just think y’all should hire more customer service call center people so we aren’t stuck waiting 25 minutes to an hour! It’s annoying!

I wouldn't recommend banking with Navy Federal Credit Union. If you have an account with them they have a fine print in their contract where they take money from a joint account to pay an individual account when the primary account holder passes away. It doesn't matter if you don't know about the account. The woman I was talking to was unsure of what to say other than every bank does that... no they don't, my bank USAA doesn't.

The bank is great, or well. It used to be.Now they withhold the full extent of a deposited check for almost a whole week. We are talking payroll checks, Federal Reserve stimulus checks. A whole week. This is not acceptable. This is not reasonable. When you deposit over 2 thousand dollars in secured checks and they only give you access to 225 for a WEEK. This new policy to prevent "fraud" is going to mean we take our banking elsewhere because this is costing me money in the form of late fees on bills because my bank is holding our paychecks hostage.
