We really enjoyed ourselves we took snacks we laughed we got to know each other better than we thought we knew each other this is something wonderful to do with Friends are new friends a good way to find the fun side of someone that you call your friend I would like to call them your friend try it love it let your hair down”

“First person I met was the Post Commander, though I didn't know it at that moment. He appeared to be just any other Veteran that was very personable, and welcoming. I talked for a bit with this random Veteran for a few, then he offered me a seat at his table. He introduced me to his wife. She was also very kind, and welcoming. They we're a very modest couple in my opinion, especially when eventually it came to light he is the Post Commander. I instantly respect a person who doesn't try to power check with a title upfront. I got the chance to meet the real people behind that title being myself, before learning of the position of authority. The atmosphere in general with all patrons was calm, and welcoming. I definitely will recommend this place to other Veterans. I will be returning, and plan to transfer my membership to this VFW, be that I'm new to this area.”
