We had heard good things about these people for years but never had the opportunity to go in. My lawn tractor blew a carburetor and this was the only place that could help us find the correct replacement.The next week my throttle cable broke. Guess where the only place that had a replacement in the whole city was. That's right, Evans hardware! We will definitely be seeing these guys again.

Had some canopies to pick up after a year of purchase. Called to make sure they were still there. They were there in storage just as I hoped. Men there are always very polite and helpful. Make you feel like you're at home when you enter. My kind of business!!!

I gave Evans Hardware 4-stars instead of 5 for one reason they seem to always have what I'm looking for & their prices are reasonable, but, I have never gone into the store and been met w a hello, welcome, or anything to indicate that they even pretend they care that I've come to their store to spend my money, I've been shopping there since the '70s, it has always been the same, no friendliness or niceties, just yeah, we have it, it's this much, and never a thanks, come back or anything, just wondering if it's company policy to never smile or be friendly, the general mood in the store always seems to be so somber like every one was just given really bad news

Needed some screws. Two people behind the counter and no other customers in sight. Both too busy staring out the windows to offer to help or say Hi. Love the one with the 45 auto carried openly in the small of his back. Makes him an obvious target if someone decides to hold them up.I’ll find them somewhere else.

Interesting customer service interaction. Asked a simple question about a possible return and laughed at our faces as if the customer is suppose to know what all in their Inventory is returnable.
