In April the home daycare where we had our toddler closed and we had to find a new place with less than a month's notice. The price was slightly higher at LPA than what we were paying, but the return on investment has been amazing. Though my child is not getting as much individual attention as she was as one of two children at the home daycare, the staff at La Petite all greet my child by name when we come in, and are so kind when I drop my child off. The Sprout About App makes it so we are in near constant contact about my child's care and any incidents that happen and recently I've seen an improvement in even the time it takes to get a response through the app.
They are very patient and communicate about diaper rashes and any playground or behavioral incidents and my child is learning so much and making so many friends. No daycare is perfect, but their staff is really trying to make a safe, engaging, and effective learning environment for these kids and I'm so happy that they don't use SCREENS to do it! I hate that they leave the lights on for naps but understand that it's a corporate policy (don't google why. stuff of nightmares.) but I think the kids do struggle to sleep if they haven't been there since they were babies. They do take the time to pat my child to sleep on days when they are struggling to unwind. Other than sometimes coming home a little grouchy, my child has had an explosion of new words like TRAPEZOID and they know what they mean. They are teaching geometry terms to two year olds and I am here for it.
Miss Paris, Miss Nisha, Miss Wendy, Miss Katie, Miss Karizma, Miss Kenzie, Miss Bay and Miss Jamie are all stellar (and I'm sure the other teachers are as well.)

This facility is so horrible. I have been paying over a $1000 in 2months. Spoke to the director about my concerns and Laura completely ignored me for weeks. I have to be at school at a certain time so I can not keep having to track this woman down every time she messages me about a balance and I'm not understanding where it is coming from. She is a habitual ghoster. Then, I spoke to the district manager and she was very unethical. She pretty much explained to me that the last director that we had before she resigned was not communicating about missing swipes. Swipes that happened last year I'm now being charged for. After asking her since the last director failed to tell me about missing swipes LAST YEAR! Can she work with me. I owe now $320.70. I was going to pay $200 today and the rest on Friday. She said no. Your account has already been past due. OKAY? But these are charges that I am unaware of. So can you at least work with me. I just paid $422.00 back in March for supposedly January but she only sent me documents for the month of February that still did not add up to $422. I asked her to send me the copy from January and just like the director she hired. She didn't send it but called me just to tell me my son can't attend school until she gets the full $320.70 even though I paid $200. So make sure you all keep track with everything. They will con you out of your money. They will go months back and of course. Who really remember what happened last year. Please be careful. I understand DHS pays a month behind. But they will use that to there advantage if they know the parents have no knowledge of that. Plus they will make sure you pay back from last year from what the last director did. Completely horrible and money hungry. Kelsey didn't ask about the messages between me and her director that I told her that I have. To show her that I messaged her director about my concerns and trying to understand exactly what's going on and she was only concern about the money not that her director failed to communicate effectively. I spoke to a lot of other parents that transferred their children. I will absolutely be doing the same. But honestly at this point. I need to find another daycare as a whole.

I just want to let the parents on here know the TRUTH. My daughters went here when Lucy was the “Director” and it was the WORST environment for anybody. So bad I pulled them from the daycare, but ever since Jessica has taken over everything has changed completely! The entire facility smells and feels cleaner, when you walk in you are greeted with a smile and how can I help you? They actually sit down and take the time to listen to your cares and your concerns about your children. They have all new staff who seem truly interested in the children as well. They are not looking at them as just paychecks and constantly yelling. Jessica has completely done an AMAZING job. If it wasn’t for her and her kind, Caring, loving attitude, I would have never stepped foot back in that door! Thank you for stepping up when nobody else would do it for our children! As long as Jessica is the Director I will ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS bring my children back! Thank you la Petite for finally getting it right!!!!

Recently saw a teacher that was aggressive with the kids and called. The director immediately took the teacher out and terminated her after reviewing cameras and doing a thorough investigation. All other staff is very kind and patient with my child. He's very clingy and theyve helped him learn to play with others. Highly recommend this place. They serve amazing food and snacks to the children and have book time. You can watch the cameras to check in on your child whenever you need which I love.

Just don't take your kids here especially if you are low income. I had a back swipe that I wasn't even aware of until it was too late. I didn't have the money to pay it (70.00) so my child couldn't go back. Lucy tried to come up with a solution but when I called Kelsey the district manager or whatever. She did not try to help me at all just basically told me that Imy.kid is charged state fees and not private pay so basically I didn't matter. Then she threatened to send me to collections. We been here almost 2 years and are treated like this? No thanks. My aunt is a daycare inspector and kinda warned me about la petite but my kids won't be back not to mention they go through too many directors.

If you’re thinking about working here or putting your kids here. DON’T. First off, Lucy the director won’t call parents if their kids have fevers, will let kids throw up and delay sending them home and if you’re child is sick and you work there she will tell you herself to find a babysitter like everyone else. It took another parent calling up to the facility for an employee to get fired after i informed her that she snatched my autistic son up. Smh if I could erase my experience I most definitely would. My kids has never been so sick in his life. From roseola, to E.COLI. Yes my child contacted E.Coli there due to them throwing anybody in the kitchen and not sending sick kids home or cleaning properly! That place needs a deep cleaning and new management for sure.

I would not take your kids to this daycare, I would not look for employment at this daycare…I repeat! I WOULD NOT TAKE HOUR KIDS TO THIS DAYCARE, I WOULD NOT LOOK FOR EMPLOYMENT AT THIS DAYCARE! my grandkids went to this daycare and my daughter worked there. Lucy is the Director she does not care about the babies/kids there or the Employees. She don’t send the sick kids home with fever like State says too and when the kids of employees get sick she will tell her Employees she won’t approve for them to be off. Even with a doctor note saying the said child can not return back until they are better she still wont approve for that employee to be off. My daughter still has the messages to vie text to prove it. Lucy told her do what we all have to do and find a babysitter. Who gone leave they sick child and who gone want to keep a sick child. Further more who says that. When my granddaughter started school, my daughter needed to pick her up and that would be her lunch break in doing so. When my daughter reminded her that’s what she would be doing Lucy told her that my grand child was not her priority at that time. My grandson has caught E-coli from them either not washing or cleaning the fruit and veggies, or from whom ever not preparing the food not washing they hands after they use the bathroom. State has payed them a visit a couple of times and I pray that something is done. This place need a director that cares about the children and the employees. She knows the young women working there that have kids need a job. It’s women like her that make it hard for young women. There was a kid left on the playground. She to busy walking around asking the employees to buy food stamps and gossiping to employees about other employees there. She don’t like to work in a room. They understaff the kids stay out of ratio, and she had my daughter working in rooms by herself and was not CPR certified, and all the above are State violations! Unless they get rid of her, they will remain under staff because she is RUDE, and does not know what she is doing! She even went so far as to have the director at the one on Reno name Shelly to not except my grands at that location. It’s not just my grands, I’m sure it’s also happing to your kids as well, maybe you just don’t know. I know she has told several other employees that when they child is sick she won’t approve they time off as well. I have the proof of that as well! If there are other Parents, Current Employees, Ex Employees that has had a bad encounter with Lucy, please reach out to me. We have to make sure Our kids are safe and taken care of. It start with the Director and the Teachers. P.S the center does not look the Photos here. The place is nasty, toys not clean, it’s just all Bad!

My grandson went to this daycare and one of the best things that happened was my daughter pulling him out. I picked him up on a regular basic and mentioned numerous times how they were out of child ratio. He would be picked up with a scratch or bruise and of course no-one knew how he got it or even told my daughter how it happened!! His teacher thought it would be nice of her to call him a cry baby to other employees, then the director wanted to move my grandchild back to a class he had outgrown due to his teacher having an issue with him and not doing her job!!! Ok it is your job as a child care provider to comfort a child and stay off your phone. There was numerous times I would walk in and there would be kids sitting in the front receptionist area against the wall with no adult supervision then someone would walk up there when I would go past the coded door. When I called to talk to the director she stated she could not discuss it with me as I was not the parent, however they had not problem discussing other things with me even other children, then I was hung up on as she said she was trying handle the whole situation was but was so stressed out about it all and could not handle it. Very unprofessional place. I would highly recommended ensuring you have audio and video on your child's room at all times!!!

It's even worse with the new director. My son has received multiple injuries, with no incident report, and within the first week of school with Bailey as the director, was cut on his tear duct and it bled. Was expelled today, my FOUR year old, because he knocked another child's tower down and the kid started hitting him so he hit him and bit his face, drawing blood. While I don't condone the way he handled the situation, he has never once acted this way around other children before recently and the teacher literally allowed it to escalate without stopping it, like, what? And nothing was done to the child who was the first to act out in anger. My child, on the other hand, does also have injuries to his fingers, but no one cares about that. It is up to the teachers and caregivers in a school to police the situation and correct it while it is happening, not stand around, take no accountability and then blame my child, who is a good kid- this was an isolated incident. He is also learning disabled, so I see discrimination honestly since the child who drew blood on his face in August was not expelled at the time. What a horrible group of caregivers. Always understaffed, and not only no incident reports, but no one knew where he was half the time when I'd come to pick him up. They should be ashamed of themselves for being so disorganized. And I have seen several reviews online matching mine. How horrible.

Very grateful to all the teachers who have cared for my kids. From infant to 2's, in my experience, they are wonderful to the kids. Gas is too much and I live too far. Have to move schools. Grateful for the time you have put in for my family.

The first experience and I've only been taking my 2 daughters here since the 15th. The director informed me that I needed a specific type of labels on my babies bottle. She is only 3 month old and I was told they would not be able to feed her due to "incorrect labels." My daughter requires a special formula and giving her anything else would make her sick. The director was very rude and not willing to compromise with the Labels I provide with the exact information she required on the bottles. I also have a 1 year old who is a really happy and really loves playing with other kids, but has never been happy here & cried all day everyday. Today was the icing on the cake and not to mention how humiliating and embarrassed I was on how I was treated! When dropping off my 1 year old this morning, which I walk right by the directors office to get to her classroom, an area where car seats are dropped off, a classroom & then another classroom. I dropped my daughter off & spoke with her teachers for a minute then as I am walking out the director is calling out a name behind me but since it's not my name I'm assuming she isn't talking to me. She continues to call out a name a little louder and more aggressive (inside if the daycare) and I still have no idea who she is talking too. She continues to walk behind me but of course I don't respond or stop. She follows me all the way to my car saying do you NOT hear me saying your name to which I finally respond & say I hear you saying somebody's name but that isn't my name & then she proceeds to tell me that I need to go get my child because it was past 9am and that is their cut off (which it indeed was not) I told her I wasn't getting my daughter because she made it in time & then she tells me she's going to call DHS on me saying I'm abandoning my daughter and she will also call all of my emergency contacts to come get her. My recommendation is stay FAR AWAY from the place. I give it 0 out 10 and would give it a (-) if I could. Stay away from any daycare with Bailey Kleeman as a director. She makes the place an awful place for your kids. They even have cameras where you can watch your children all day & I still don't feel comfortable.

if I could give it a -10 horrible place for kids, the only time you need to take your kids there is if you do not care how they are doing or what they are doing all day. They are not structured at all, my child would come home i dirty they are always facing away from the children or on the tablets. i was promised a very structured environment i gave suggestion but because they never had enough staff they were not able to do anything for the kids other then let them run wild.

Loved this daycare! I would have stayed but it is too far from me now.
