Idk where to start. This bank is horrible I’ll be closing my account at the end of this month going to another bank. They only care about themselves this bank is laughable at this point. They are committing fraud and allowed to get away with it.

NFCU assigned me a mortgage loan officer who doesn't care about anything but the bare minimum (Rebekah Shelton NMLS# 1609088). Any questions I have, never get answered. They even assigned me a mortgage loan officer 1000+ miles away in Florida. I ask basic credit related questions and the loan officer will refer me to a totally different credit company. I can't plan anything with nfcu at my side. NFCU can save A LOT of money by going A.I. because they train their employees to give you computer-like answers.I tried calling a supervisor to get help, and found nothing. So I'm writing this to help others.(NFCU if you want this changed to a 5 star review, you need to service one of your long time, forgotten members)Or else, I won't just walk away, I'll become your permanent anti-sales repI have a brain injury from my service to this country! I deserve an extra explanation every now and then! I don't deserve this treatment from a bank that I keep all my money in.

This credit union is an absolute joke. I told them they were actively being fraud, and they would not listen. They assured me my name was off a joint account only to find out 2 months later it wasn’t. I’m being held responsible for charges I didn’t make when the person that is responsible for the charges has their own account with Navy Federal they took $800 out of one of my accounts and then gave a refund back to the joint account and kept my $800 I’ve been with Navy Federal since 1989. It is a disgrace what it has become. I’m done as soon as I get thru this Charlie Foxtrot.Semper Fi

Don't ever bank with Navy fed. They have gotten so bad since covid. Took more than half the money out of my account without notification. My rent check was out and it totally screwed everything. Horrible people all around.

Where do I start? The mortgage screw ups? The Title to my truck they were suppose to mail back to me when I sold it but got "lost" in the mail which cost the buyers interest to go from 5% to 18% . I spend the time and money to replace the title for them to say they won't refund him the extra money he paid . PLEASE stop telling the public you are here for the military and put members first because you don't. You will happily admit when you screwup but do NOTHING to make it right!

My clients were using this CU for a loan to buy an home and it was my worst experience with a lender so far in my career. The loan officer refused to talk to me, even with the permission of my buyers. We had to file addendums twice to extend our contact due to how slow they were. They preapproved my clients, made everything sound good, and then a week or two before closing, sent me an email saying they were closing their file- without so much as a warning. They would not take my phone calls to figure out what was going on! I still to this day have never heard a word from them. I still am not sure what happened. The lack of communication with me (the realtor) throughout the process was unbelievable.Ultimately, my clients had to switch lenders in the middle of a contract and start over. Very stressful, frustrating, and disappointing for everyone involved.

Do not expect to get anything done here in a reasonable amount of time! Had 6 people ahead of me in line to make a wire transfer to a title company. 3 hours later, I am still waiting….

I've banked for along time with these guys, but I had a really solid experience today. I noticed my APR on my car was astronomical after refinancing last year to make it better. My old finance company LOST my car title, never giving the lien to Navy Federal causing them to gouge my untitled car. The lady there helped me with everything I needed and explained it very well to my peanut brain. I took her notes to the DMV, filled out the forms and got everything straightened out. Went back to Navy Fed and the lady put in all the new forms and receipts solving my problem. Thanks so much to you who helped me!

Every since we opened this account we've had nothing but issues. Bill pay has paid the bill too late or not at all. We have a bill with Safe Credit Union. According to Safe all credit unions are tied together so bills are paid pretty much immediately. However Navy Fed sends them a paper check making our payment late even though we have it scheduled in time not to be late. Customer service is horrible, 1 - 1 1/2 hours on the phone. First debit cards we were given weren't activated. Deposited over $7,000 but only given $250 availability. We just moved to town. Expenses were more than $250. We are currently looking to move our accounts.
