This review is written on behalf of my boyfriend who after today, will no longer be banking with this ghetto so called credit union. This is the worst banking experience I have ever had the privilege of hearing in my life, and I work in banking!! My bf opened his account with USE in 2019 and since then he has had very unpleasant encounters with various workers of this bank. Today was the last straw for him and I was appalled by the unprofessionalism and customer blaming that I heard while he talked to multiple reps. My bf's debit card was stolen so last week, so he called and reported it stolen and requested a new card. Fast forward to this week, he called to get a status update of his new card and was told the card was never ordered.... huh? A customer calls your bank reporting their card stolen and you don't reorder the card? Understandably so, he was upset to learn he had been waiting all this time for his card, only to have to continue to wait to access his funds, and no one he spoke with took any responsibility or even apologized for the inconvenience. One representative Crystal Scott was very combative and didn't seem to understand why my bf was so upset. One point during his conversation, Ms. Scott told him since he is so unhappy with their bank, he should close his account; what reputable bank sends their customer to another bank!!! When he asked Ms. Scott for her name, she proceeded to hang up in his face! The only reason I have her name, is because he called back and asked another rep for her name, and Ms. Scott had the nerve to tell her supervisor that my bf hung up on her! That's pretty low Ms. Scott for you to lie on a justifiably angry customer who simply wants access to his money. The manager who he was transferred to after being hung up on was not much better, also telling him to go to another bank, and called my bf a liar when he told her about being hung up on by Ms. Scott! Very upsetting to had to have sit here and listen to these poor representatives of USE, I could not make up how terrible the service was and please rest assure, the representatives he spoke with will answer to their poor service today. If you value your time, money, sanity and good customer service, DO NOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH THIS BANK!
